Liptak or Saeijs UPFRONT????
AndyNorthernSaints replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
How about the players practice shooting? try some shots from outside the box like other teams do? or maybe get a loan striker in like our relegation rivals have done? -
Going to a few new grounds.

Khan should learn to show some dignity and respect to a ring legend who has achieved more than Khan will ever do in boxing. IMO Khan should fight Thaxton and Murray in domestic fights then fight Prescot who knocked him out in 1st round before talking about world titles.
-
Loans? surely not? most people on here said we didn't need any? a decent midfield playmaker and a goal scoring striker needed ASAP. Every other club is doing this apart from Saints :-(
-
Agree with you there. Very dissapointed that a head butt in the 1st round ruined a potential great fight as Barrera was obviously affected by blood streaming into his eye from 1st round. Would have been interesting to see if Khan could have kept up his tempo later in the fight. No doubt Khan will somehow get a world title fight despite not fighting for british or european belts which is a shame.

Just goes to show what happens when a ref has the bottle to award the away team a penalty and send a Manure player off. Might have been different if Mike Riley was in charge of todays game.
-
Just an update on how our relegation rivals are using the loan system to try and help them avoid relegation. Norwich - Mooney scores winner for second successive game. Blackpool - Small scores winner today. Derby - Bannan scores in defeat. I see Wotte has said he hopes to get a loan player in before the end of March. Wish he'd hurry up and get a striker in please ASAP.
-
It's not fair! every other championship is using the loan system to help them while Saints use it to help other teams :-(
-
Cheers for the tip. I'm off to the bookies tomorrow.

Watching the history of Rough Trade Records on BBC4. Reminds me of many happy memories of going there to get records and going to gigs in London after.
-
Totally agree there mate.
-
Would you get royalties for the Surburban Filth song then mate? if so how about "Dog**** drama" :-)
-
Lucky for us then that our ancestors didn't let your nazi/fascist friends win then.
-
What do people think will happen then? I think Khan is not even the best lightweight in Greater Manchester and will get knocked out again.
-
Bad news for the racist lynch mob on here then.

Will Champion (Coldplay) does still care

I suppose it could be worse. Phil Collins could be a Saints fan :-( -

In Stu's case none by the sound of it. -
Spot on there. Another thing is why can we suddenly afford to play Saga, Skacel and Euell now when we couldn't earlier in the season when lots of points were lost with a side containing 8/9 youngsters?
-
Strauss pays the price for declaring too late again. Well played Anderson who i thought bowled his heart out without much luck in the match.

Going just on tonight's games it seems our relegation rivals are using the loan and transfer system better than us. Barnsley - Mifsud scored. Blackpool - Campbell and Blackman both scored. Norwich - Mooney scored. Shackell in defence with clean sheet. Watford - Rasiak scored. Cork in winnig midfield. Nottingham Forest - McSheffrey assist for goal.
-
Does anyone think Saints will try to get another player(s) in on loan before the end of season? It seems lots of other clubs are getting loan players in. For example Forest have got in McSheffrey who is a decent player IMO to help them out. I know every other club has more money than Saints but my main worry is despite some decent form , a few injuries and we will have to bring in the likes of Smith, Pulis, Wotton, Paterson and Molyneux into the starting line up, who i don't think are good enough to keep us up.
-
Reminded me of his last game for Celtic when Martin O'Neil subbed him early in game for not trying.
-
Agree with others that Gillett was Saints best player. He might not be the most talented player but at least gets stuck in and makes himself available for a pass. Birmingham were one of the poorest teams i've seen this season yet were physically strong enough to beat Saints. If they go up they will be worse than Derby. When Smith came on i knew the game was over/lost as he is one of the worst players i have ever seen playing for Saints and makes Wotton look like Ronaldo.

Well we have decded not to play cricket with them. That's shown them we mean business :-(
