Firstly i'm not fan of McGoalrought, he did not score at lower league on loan and does look like scoring enouh goals in the championship. my point was Saga was like the team not playing well. Personally i feel we need a big centre forward as we tended to hoof the ball towards Saga and McG who either made no effort or were not big enough to get on end of balls etc. Playing Morgan right wing was silly as well as playing the donkey Wotton.. At least McLagonn had a shot and tested their keeper unlike the rest of the useless tossers. I agree Wotte does not seem to have a clue but at the end of the day we hav a **** poor side who cannot beat teams who are not much better than us.

Just got back 6 hrs train round trip. Player ratings can't be arsed apart from Davis 8. Sants didn't put effort in until near end which was not good enough. Bristol City like most of this league are not much better than us but are better organised, motivated and more physical than saints. Support from fans was crap dispite numbers with no singing apart from usual hardcore at the back. Can't believe fans clapped players at end after not singing or clapping throughout game. Why go to the game and stand in silence?????????? 95% of posters on here picked the useless Wotton who was again found wanting. Surman can't take a corner which is criminal for a professional footballer, bring back Wright who could at least put the ball into the box. Policing was well over the top as well with fans escorted back to station after game.

Agree. Problem right now is going on tour with only one back up batsmen which smacks of complacency IMO.

Anyone with any knowledge of football knows Sturrock has a decent record managing in Scotland and England usually with limited budgets. If you went to games, you might have witnesed some great football when he was at Saints. Plymouth have no money like us but are still 7 points better and i know who i would bet on to stay up.

In a strange way this might be a good thing in the long term as too many of these players have been under performing for some time with no threat of them losing their places or central contracts. So from reading reports the pitch was playable but surrounding areas dangerous? This didn't stop Saints v Sheff Utd last Tuesday when Sheffield team and fans travelled length of country ok? my advance train ticket with Virgin train ****s is non refundable. Bleeding southern softies :-(

McLaggon Lallana James Gillett McGoldrick None of these were proven first team players at the start of the season. I call that inexperienced. Apart from the recent games when donkey Wotten has played we have selected the likes of Molyneuex, Smith, Golbern, Mills, Lancashire, Paterson, Morgan as well and that is the main reason for the current league position.
