  1. I included you in the 3 mate. See you saturday.
  2. Big turn out of Northern Saints for Watford. 3 :-(
  3. I see Wotte says on the OS he can't understand why Saints can't win at home? i think that says it all really about the total lack of awareness and understanding of football in this league. If he can't see we need a right back and a big centre forward still and we can't afford to start with only 5 experienced outfield players, then he hasn't got a clue :-(
  4. Wasting your time there as he ignores facts regarding football matters.
  5. Did not include the experienced Paddy Kenny. Saints started 5 experienced outfield players which is not enough to survive in this league IMO.
  6. Alright Rich. Yep getting ready for some new away days next season although i've already done Huddlesfield in the league cup years ago. Holloway might not be a great manager but it's not rocket science to know why Saints are struggling. No fullbacks, too many youngsters and no big centre forward to get on the end of crosses like most teams have in this division.
  7. I was not advocating him for manager. Just quoting what he said on Sky Sports.
  8. Sounds like Saints were unlucky but once again paid the price for playing too many youngsters. Sheff Utd i think started with 9 experienced outfield players and one youngster. Saints had half as many. Sheff Utd have an experienced manager who knows this league and leagues below and recently took a chance on a goal scoring Chesterfield players Ward who scored the winner. That is the reason they are 4th in the league despite losing Beattie recently. Holloway on Sky could not understand why Euell did not start.
  9. Saints 4 Stanley 0 :-)
  10. Past his best now but probably still fitter tham most of the Saints squad and would be a better right back than James.
  11. If a right back does not join Saints today it will prove the people at the club do not have a clue :-(
  12. Crystal Palace midweek home game a couple of years ago. Reason i remember is i flew down from Manchester for the game only to find out game was off while in the pub :-(
  13. Snow in Manchester.
  14. The sending off woke me up as i'd dozed off watching a very boring game until then. Mike Riley was also ref a few year ago when Lampard broke Alonso's ankle in a tackle. Was also amazed Bosingwa was not sent off as Riley either didn't see it or bottled it.
  15. Forest seem to be showing some ambition to avoid relegation by strengthening their team after getting in place an experienced and proven manager in Davies. Wish Saints would try this tactic :-(
  16. but usually offside.
  17. Our fullbacks are this big.
  18. It was obvious to everyone apart from the club that we needed fullbacks at the start of season. Think James could do a decent job at right midfield as he has ability to cross a good ball. To continue to play him at right back could ruin his career IMO.
  19. What idiot would would sell or loan players to our relegation rivals? .............R
  20. We couldn't afford to pay them but should have got in more experienced and better replacements than Peckhart and Robertson. Plenty of lower league strikers around who could have done a job for us. Also starting the season with no experienced fullbacks was crazy :-(
  21. Decent underated player for us and great striking partner for Beattie at the time. Apart from semi final goal one of my fav memories seeing him was at Anfield when he scored the opener in 2-1 win which meant we went 4th in the table. Happy days that seem a long time ago now.
  22. Kelvin has played for Wimbledon, Luton, Ipswich at this level and Sunderland in the premier league. Which is slightly different to Millwall reserves - Smith and the others who were either in academy or reserve teams or injured.
  23. I don't think players perform well at this level if they are not good enough.
