  1. How I see it. The Guardian comment is fanciful at best.
  2. That can't be bettered. Genius.
  3. I can't see the need for another link between the team and the boardroom. Les pretty much does that. He has overseen a major player leaving and a major player signing, with no manager in place.
  4. Cant see Les having a DOF.
  5. The jocks would rather have Westminster looking out for them than Brussels, when it comes down to it. There was a referendum, Leave won. That's it. Accept the result with good grace and move on.
  6. He does have a skilful way of drawing bile, fair play to him.
  7. F*cking grizzling ***ts. You lost, get over it.
  8. I'm not your pal.
  9. Was their best player whenever he played. Don't know why he wasn't used that often.
  10. Maybe more of the jobs already there might go to local people. Who's to say they won't get more jobs anyway.
  11. Don't remember Everton under Moyes being defensive. Don't remember him having a massive budget to work with. Remember him blooding a good few youngsters. Just saying.
  12. Leave won because people want return to democracy, and are fed up of their communities changing beyond recognition because of freedom of movement. They are also annoyed at the metropolitan political elite, across all parties, that have forgotten who they are supposed to represent, and have totally ignored their fears and problems.
  13. Koeman would have been a lame duck manager this season. Correct decision made. Write Reed off at your peril. I have, quite a few times, but every time he has proved me wrong. Having said that, if he appoints Puel as manager, again I will be asking questions.
  14. Great signing. Is going to be a brilliant player.
  15. Like that.
  16. C*nting b*stard.
  17. The EU have to take a long hard look at themselves. We won't be the only country to take this course of action. The EU can either adapt to what the people actually want, or die. Their problem is they don't listen to the people, they lecture them. Very close vote, but the result has to be respected.
  18. They should look at the Hedge End Rangers U15s manager from 1985. Won everything, and wasn't afraid to play youngsters.
  19. Perfectly sums up my thoughts.
  20. I would seriously prefer Moyes to Puel or Pereira.
  21. I find it amusing that we would be happy with any Carlos Kickaball we've never heard of because it worked with Poch. Madness. We're the only job going in the richest league in the world, and we've got a European place. We should be aiming higher than a lot of the no mark names that are being bandied around. That said, Les Reed has a history of pulling rabbits from hats. Fingers crossed he gets this right. I'm very disappointed it's not going to be Pellegrini (as is my bank account).
  22. Don't know why people are trying to dampen this deal. Good luck to Leicester. They've got their way of working, we've got ours. Good luck to them, good luck to us.
  23. He had another year left on his contract. Maybe there were clauses about him getting it paid up.
  24. I personally think Pellegrini has been given the job, but can't take it until July because he would forfeit some sort of payment from City. All this stuff the club are putting out about more interviews I don't buy. Someone in the club playing games as for as Klinnsman goes. Get your money on the Chilean.
  25. They would never have won the league with that sort of defeatist talk. They can easily afford it, so why not.
