The press are banging on about freedom of speech etc. But what about the rights of every individual not to be the subject of spying techniques that wouldn't have looked out of place in communist Russia 30 years ago. The press had their chance of self-regulation and have spectacularly blown it. Cameron would really go down in my estimation if he caved into them, and so they can't hound 1 political party, it should be an open agreement between all the Westminster parties.

His mistakes being random is worse. It's not just 1 part of his game that isn't great. Swansea - poor pass - poor concentration/decision making. And he spilled a couple. QPR - caught in no mans land - poor on crosses - poor decision making. And he spilled a couple. Norwich - terrible positioning of the wall - fumbled the shot (poor technique). Newcastle - made 1 world class save, but to be honest, over the course of a season even Tommy Nofingers Forecast would. So, it looks like he needs to improve his decion making, ability to deal with crosses, concentration, technique and handling. Doesn't exactly fill you with confidence does it.

I can't see it. His handling is poor, he spills everything and doesn't get his body behind the ball.

The positioning of the wall for their goal was almost as poor as the keeper's attempt to stop it. Boruc must be dogsh*t in training if he can't force his way in.

I disagree. 4-4-1-1 is not like the other formations you mentioned. The 4 across the midfield is giving us a far more solid look. When we were playing the 4-2-3-1, the poor defence were getting overrun.

Agreed. I too was an advocate of Adkins being replaced. However, since the 4-3-3 was abandoned we look OK. Without getting too far ahead of ourselves, I'll admit I was wrong. Can I be spared a public flogging now?

I wanted Adkins sacked. But I'm loving being proved wrong. Yesterday's performance was top class. Jack Cork has made us a lot more solid and harder to break down, and Ramirez, Puncheon and Lallana are outstanding. Long may it continue. Mind you, the smug f*ckers on here, quoting supporters who have/had a different opinion on Adkins than the majority, are getting right on my tits.

Gazza hasn't shown me that he has the potential to be a top keeper. His handling, positioning and decision-making are poor. He needs to step up a bit.

I'd keep him. What's the point in letting him go? He provides valuable cover.

Davis has a great attitude and is a credit to his profession. I hope the club can keep him on in some capacity when he hangs his gloves up.

Lallana was tracking Hoilett, but let him go. Gazza's handling on routine saves was very suspect. I would worry with him or Kelvin in goal, but you can't put Boruc in unless he's fit. Hopefully he's been doing extra training to lose a few pounds.
