The worry though is to be replaced by what ? Don't have any belief or confidence that Gao will make a good appointment as replacement.
  2. Stadium will be going wild in anticipation of the Cup Final the following week..
  3. Can't argue with this as things stand. Absent and anonymous owner, with unknown 'gameplan' Ralph - who does what at the moment? Reed - failure at selection and recruitment over the last two years Manager - completely out of his depth Players - should be doing better collectively, but many probably already viewing their next moves
  4. AND REED MUST BE A C^NT FOR EMPLOYING HIM, AND THEN NOT SACKING THE BASTARD
  5. Don't think we could be that lucky could we ?
  6. But we're now set up to defend a 2-0 deficit. Don't you understand ? If we attack we might lose by 3 or 4. If a draw is as good as a win then a 1or2-0 away defeat is as agood as a point.
  7. Is it plain red on the front as well ?
  8. Two critical away games coming up, Newcastle & West Ham which are likely to determine how we end up. No doubt Peelegrino will play for two draws.
  9. A trait handed down from the boardroom, the art of dither.
  10. Not signing proven strikers. Persevering with a inept GK.
  11. If this is true then that strikes me as even Reed has lost confidence in Pellegrino. Probably just a matter of tying up the final details of his successor to come in now. I reckon Les might have it sorted by mid-July.
  12. Cheaper option would be for Les Reed to take on the role, combining it with his current duties of doing what exactly ?
  13. No... just no way.
  14. Depends if it's Utd, Liverpool, or City needing the extra time or another.
  15. I've lost count of how many times I've read something like this though. We've had too many false dawns.
  16. Such logic doesn't work on Planet Les
  17. David Platt. No not a serious recommendation. Steve Cotterill is available again though.
  18. Okay, stand corrected. Although I'm sure he still had some of the transfer window available to him.
  19. Seems he was brought in to allow Pellegrino to indulge himself in a bit of 'fantasy football' management, it is recognised he's crap at it in the real world. Only thing that strikes me is whether this is t giving him sufficient rope, which allows the club to say "we've backed you, allowed you to bring your own man in, it hasn't worked - now f^ck off.. "* * Wishful thinking perhaps.

This was said to me by a sports journalist who often covers Saints a couple of weeks ago in a chance meeting and conversation. It hasn't gone unnoticed, although none of them it seems see this as particularly newsworthy to make it a feature.
  21. I find it equally staggering that Gao, or Ralph, don't pull the trigger on Les. But I know it won't happen.
  22. Reed who appointed the muppet, and has failed in the transfer window, time after time.
  23. He went there in about November though, still left a significant chunk of the season to turn things round. And a transfer window. Another well done shout out to Les.
  24. Thanks Article says an update at 5pm,rather than definitely announcing the decision. Hope there is a decision, although if there is a definite one it will likely to be called off, alternatively I expect the "update"will be to tell us the time of the pitch inspection tomorrow (11am about the time we might be leaving). I expect the decision is likely to be based on advice from the Police rather than just the pitch inspection.
  25. Any kindly soul on here able to offer advice on the A34 today/projection for tomorrow? That said getting out of our village involves driving on an ice rink of compressed snow.
