  1. Must have been a post by Alpine Bhoy or similar then, as Lennon did play him, and he scored.
  2. oh sh!t, Harding at rb then, or Jack Stephens debut ?
  3. Probably is bs. Read he has a bit of a problem regarding a new contract at Wigan, although I seem to remember him saying he was happy there after some of the speculation. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4039588/Victor-Moses-in-limbo-over-new-Wigan-deal.html But two other things: - there was Prem club interest - his agent - Finnigan - is the same as Puncheon's, so can't see him being too keen to see his client sign for us after the Puncheon debacle.
  4. or Stafford Rangers. Assume they still exist.
  5. Isn't JWP a midfield player ?
  6. With a depleted squad and limited options up front I can't see us getting much out of this game and fear another defeat to a p!ss poor bottom three side (3-0) who have found a bit of form before we play them. Hope I'm wrong.
  7. I've already made a point on this, in reply to the post by Dimond Geezer:
  8. own
  9. Have either of these characters been linked then ?
  10. It just reminds me of the Viz cartoon, "Meet PC Riah, the coppers who's queer..". Don't suppose that is passed around the Hants Constabulary canteen these days.
  11. Great but can you give us any "proof" he is signing, or even that we have tabled a bid for him ?
  12. Made I laugh. Hearing about this topic day in ,day out, in the media is beginning to get on my tits to be honest.
  13. Providing they were not misinformed as to the nature of the implant then it would be difficult to argue a breach of contract, the implants supplied had been approved by the statutory body so its not cheap implants used illegally.
  14. Emmerdale has not been worth watching for the last fifteen years.
  15. In the absence of a PL quality striker coming in, I'd be happy with one who can complete the promotion for us this season. We can re-assess their suitability again in the summer depending on where we are.
  16. For what we need now, I think Sharp is our best option, although longer term LJ may be a better prospect. That said, I'd prefer Hooper, but don't believe that will happen.
  17. I agree with you in principle on this, but the flaw in our argument is that for the NHS to refuse the removal etc, there might be greater costs incurred in the event of health issues following leakage etc. ie the need to weigh up costs of prevention rather than cure
  18. pussy
  19. You may be right, but that is not the logic to push our promotion hopes I'm afraid. Not too disappointed LJ is not joining although will be disappointed if we do not sign a good proven striker this window - Lee is too great a risk to rely on week in week out.
  20. Agree with the two posts above, signing a higher calibre than Sharp/Lucas is a sound plan, although it worries me that if we aim too high and find ourselves without another striker we might regret not bringing either of these two in when the chance was there.
  21. But I'm not sure I'd trust Twitchy ... loan us an inelligible player that they can't loan out but for which we pay a loan fee, and end up with a points deduction. HT protesting innocence in the media etc
  22. ...and Blackpool bid £650,000 for Puncheon, same article.
  23. Or perhaps he is just waiting for our bid...
  24. If we are prepared to splash the sort of £ to sign Hooper then I wonder who else might be on our list of potential signings in that bracket. Sharp/Maynard, we seem to have decided against. Rhodes, although a good choice, is probably priced out of our reach. So, I still suspect a possible import from Europe, or a bid to test Blackpool, for Matt Phillips who is showing some form.
