  2. Forecast behind the net appears to have the white things on his arms too. Forecast out injured.... that has to be more serious!
  3. Thats actually pretty good
  4. Yes
  5. PULIS = 36 Adkins out for inviting him to train with the squad
  6. Caption Comp???
  7. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Gallery/0,,10280~2153976,00.html
  8. Le Fondre had been in his sights whilst at Scvnthorpe. As seen here: http://www.s****horpeunited-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/adkins_reveals_interest_in_le_fondre_and_zebrowski_554921/index.shtml
  9. Perhaps Wilkins will take over the role of Master of Cones that Rofe excelled at. Pressman was at Sc^nthorpe as GK coach.Interestingly my son told me Vince Bartram was named as Saints GK coach on the OS.
  10. He tried signing Le Fondre in August, a name often touted on here. Lets also see how Hooper copes at Celtic.
  11. I reckon he has already racked up a South American national debt as a bar bill at the De Vere, and two scantilly clad vice girls are selling their story to next wekks NOTW. (Text from a mate Max Clifford just arrived at Southampton Airport. Make of it what you will).
  12. ..but of course he may need a helping hand What do we know of Crosby? Will Barraclough be joining them later? What now for Wilkins?
  13. I expect Nigel to say that he is happy.. And if Nigel Adkins says that Nigel Adkins is happy,he must be happy..
  14. I was only joking btw.
  15. By 4.50pm next Saturday we should know.I expect he flew here with an open ended return ticket anyway.
  16. Any idea where his "spiritual home" is ?
  17. Welcome to Nigel Adkins, lets hope he fulfills his potential here and he is able to deliver the style of football that his Scunny team has been credited for. Not my immediate choice, but a promising one. Looking for positive omens, the last 'Nigel bloke' we appointed wasn't too bad, nor was the last manager we recruited from a Lincolnshire club (in 1974).Over to you Nigel...
  18. kk you were right- well done. BUT, there is so much **** posted on this forum how am I supposed to know what is true and what isn't?
  19. This text is from who?
  20. Rare but not unprecedented. I remember Gray was sacked and WGS announced on a Sunday.
  21. lol
  22. I'll be glad when this episode is over frankly. I am inclined to agree with you BUT simple fact as I see it is that we are unlikely to get the "name" with "wow" factor that we had hoped for, ie KK or MON, and could do a lot worse (ie Brown,Turdishley,Hart,Grunt, unheard of continental coach b0ll0cks ) so lets just get on with it. Unless of course NC has a further ace up his sleeve to reveal
  23. Watched Vkings a few times in the 70's. Enjoyed it and could have got into it but they disappeared as did my interest.
  24. wysteria
  25. Not overly impressed by the interviews and as you say "waffle" but I'd accept he is walking a tightrope in talking to the meda in the current predicament so lets give him a bit more latitude on that one. The third person issue is pretty painful to listen to though. Look at this critically though, his success initially was based on a team his predecessor - Laws - had put together . Some managers will achieve success at a particular club where they are deemed a god-like status but not carry it elsewhere. Is this Daily or Scunny Telegraph ? Redknapp ? Probably just wants to make himself sound authorative by knowing the name of a young lower division manager. He may be right but not sure I'd take 'arry's character reference as gospel.
