The space we gave Leicester in the middle of the park was unbelievable, to go and do exactly the same thing a few days later is fucking criminal. It strikes me as arrogance in the extreme. A worse a set up than Jones or Selles ever delivered, Hughes & Pelegríno set us up miles better that & a it’s million miles away from what Ralph or Claude did tactically. It was probably the most incompetent tactical performance that I’ve seen from a manger in over 45 years of supporting Saints. How anyone can watch us against Leicester & then come to the conclusion that playing Joe Aribo in the centre of the park will address the problem. He’s been smoking his own dope, putting his own ego above the needs of the club, and it looks like it’s only heading one way. Im not a great fan of this particular brand of football when it works, when it doesn’t it’s fucking horrendous.

If it was me I’d go 4-2-3-1 Baz Bree… Janny B…THB….KWP Charles. Manning Edozie. Alcaraz. Frazier Che
-
Did fuck all again tonight.
-
If he losses the players, this could get really messy. Imagine trying to play RussBall when your hearts not really in it. Fuck me, Ralph’s 9’s could be in jeopardy.

Nathan Jones achieved more at Luton than Martin did at Swansea or MK Dons.
-
I don’t get this Swansea pony from him . Anyone would think it’s the equivalent of what Johann Cruyff did at Barca, the way he bangs on about it. Jones made a cock of himself by constantly going on about what he’d achieved at Luton, whilst irrelevant to his Premier league role, it was an achievement to get them into the play offs. This bloke goes on about his time at Swansea & his playing philosophy there, but all he did was take a middle table side to……mid table. Lego headed twat.
-
I honestly reckon under Selles or Jones we would have at least as many points as we have now, and we wouldn’t have let in as many goals. We’ve beaten 2 shite sides & one average one, and have been pretty much outplayed in the others. It’s unbelievable how open we were in midfield again tonight, it beggars belief he can continue to set us up like this. He’s not some foreign manager just arrived, he’s played & managed in this country, it defies belief he thinks this is the way forward.
-
Make no mistake, tonight was entirely down to the manager. His insistence we pass out from the back, and his ridiculous midfield set up cost us tonight.

I’m not blaming anyone for my shortcomings I’m blaming the players for theirs. If they don’t play better replace then? yes, fucking replace them. I think you’ve got this the wrong way round, it is the players job to change from losing 5-1 then 4-1, not fucking mine. You pay me 55k a week & I’ll willingly take some responsibility for shite performances, until then I’ll support them which ever way I want to. One thing for sure, I’ll still be in St Mary’s long after these clowns have left the circus.

Id be careful about throwing accusations like that around if I were you. As egg has said, a jury of his peers will determine whether he’s broken the law. He is innocent until proven guilty and it’s a bit worrying that an ex CPS employee doesn’t seem to respect this fundamental part of our legal system.
-
Giving your own players clog is part and parcel of football, & has gone on for years & years. If they don’t want to be getting stick, fucking play better.
-
Of course 😂 If he’s innocent, then he is indeed a victim. Just like Ched Evans & Kevin Spacey were. A jury will decide and he’s quite entitled to protest his innocence. As for your claims that you’ve not hear a peep from him since him & Ross’ shenanigans, I’m surprised an avid Guardista has forgotten this little gem.

It doesn’t even need to be inflexible, 4-4-2 suffers a bad rap, but it gives you a solid base defensively & can be really flexible going forward. Defensively one of Adams or AA drops in making it a 4-5-1, it also gives us outlets to knock the fucking thing and stop mincing around with it. The keeper can ping it, up to Adams chest or head, with AA running after it and Baz is quite capable of knocking it over the full backs into the channels where Edozie or Frazier can get in behind them. Hit teams on the break. When we have decent possession Both the front 2 like to drift around and pick up pockets of space, so they offer flexibility. The wide men are both capable of going past people down the outside, but they’re also quite capable of going the other way as well and making runs from out to in. The full backs can get wide, high up the pitch, with Charles sitting in the OR role protecting the centre backs in case we give it away. To me 4-4-2 fits the players we’ll have available Tuesday, except Manning, who doesn’t strike me as being capable of over lapping & crossing the bloody thing. It clearly won’t happen, not The Saints way to March on.
-
Adams & Armstrong look at good front 2 pairing to me. Frazer & Edozie look decent options down the flanks, with cue ball & Charles sitting in central midfield. Pick 2 centre halves & get full backs playing as…full backs. In other words 4-4- fucking 2.

A Chorus of Millions of Posts About Each Other

Hes busy. He’s planning a curry night with Mrs Sog’s Russell Brand supporting friend. Evidently there’s going to be “interesting conversation “ on the night , so he can’t actually be going himself. -
Well it’s pretty pointless debating who has done better if it’s not about league positions. What about cup finals, or European campaigns do they count, or are we just using subjective measures?
-
Yeah, when Lallana, Lovren, Lambert, Chambers, Shaw, Morgan, Chambers, left we replaced them with fucking dross. Same when Poch walked out, that fucking Koeman. Clueless.
-
Looking like Djneppo is one thing, but I draw the line at fucking playing like him.
-
The league positions prove they’re not doing it better than we did (yet), and you’re spouting pony. I need to keep telling you, because it doesn’t seem to sink in. I don’t blame you, I’m sure they’re were Brighton fans love struck over us 10 years ago.
-
Seeing as this is the 8th season since we finished 6th, I’ll see where Brighton are in 8 not 5 years. Let’s also see which team you have a hard on for in 2031.
-
Since being promoted they’ve finished 15th 17th 15th 16th 9th 6th Yeah far better than our effort 😂
-
They’re trying to do what we did, only they haven’t been as successful yet. Fair play to us.

I think most people would vote to join a pre Maastricht EEC, with some FoM adjustments. But, we’ve constantly been told that The EU is a rules based organisation & the four freedoms are non negotiable. Margaret always pushed for expansion, believing the new members would mould it into something more akin to what the British wanted. Maybe this will happen eventually, because I can’t see the French agreeing to any sort of of deal acceptable to The British public. They didn’t want us to join when the raging europhiles Grocer Heath & Harold Wilson were desperate to get us in, they’ll hold this grudge for a couple of generations at least.

😂😂 if people really believe those polls there will be a vote. There’s a reason Sir Kier won’t put another vote in his manifesto, and it’s not because he thinks he’ll win or because of pony polling. Watch those %’s melt away when it dawns on people they’ll have to give up the £, join Schengen & we’ve lost our rebate. I bet the pollsters didn’t bring that up.
