Breaking News....Officially in a relegation battle
Lord Duckhunter replied to davefoggy's topic in The Saints
You are ****ing joking. Our “support” has been pathetic this season, no way anyone can say “we’ve supported the team”. You’re right about one thing, we should change. Staying till the end, getting off the players back, creating a great atmosphere, that would help. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Is that his record, employing Pell and managing Charlton? That’s it? How can you lecture anyone on judging people on their record, when you haven’t done so. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Why don’t you go instead? I’m sure they’ll be impressed with your knowledge of the game. All the experts on here claiming Les is clueless or some sort of ****ing idiot should ask themselves why the LMA invited him. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

People wanted to be entertained, they’ll see some cracking football tomorrow. Much better than the boring 0-0’s they complained about last season.

I’m getting confused because after we beat Fulham most on here said they were woeful, hopeless. They’re 7th ( and scored 6 today), so the league must be awful. Yet when Gallagher scores, it proves he should come back and play in the premiership. Is it a good league where scoring and beating Fulham is an achievement or is is Shiite where Fulham are rubbish and scoring is meaningless. Perhaps someone could advise, because it can’t be both. Does a new manager improve the teams chances of survival?
Lord Duckhunter replied to Pilchards's topic in The Saints
Look at Leicester, getting a good manager in mid season does work. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Leicester 7th now. No doubt the clowns on here will claim he’s inherited a top 6 side. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It’s really going to impress any potential signings thinking of coming into the club. They’ll be a bit worried about our league position, so I’m sure creating a toxic hatful atmosphere on Sunday in front of the cameras will reassure them. They’ll be thinking, this bunch seem a fair lot, if I don’t hit the ground running they’ll get behind me and support me instead of getting on my back. They’ll be impressed that after 8 years of constant improvement we wait all of half a season to throw our toys out of the pram. I’m sure the half empty stadium at 85 mins will show them how passionate we are about the club. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

According to the article we've lost the Brighton one already, chucked away a point by conceding a late goal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

She’s been pretty much a model owner since the day he died to the day she sold most of the club. Apart from that you’re right, give me a good old Brit like Mike Ashley or Rupert Lowe, they aren’t like these Johnny foreigners only interested in making money. All Brits are Jack Walkers aren’t they? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Do you really believe it’s that sinister, that the club told Longy to get out and blow smoke up our arse. It’s more a case of what else is he going to say. “ we need new signings because some of my mates are Shiite “. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Nicola Cortese wants to return to English footie
Lord Duckhunter replied to Delmary's topic in The Saints
Wow, he even scouted managers. How would we ever heard of Ronald Koeman without him. Amazing, he even found Pelle and got him to the club despite the fact he was playing for Koeman the previous season. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
****, I missed the Brighton home game. The one where a late goal cost us a point. First home game I’ve missed for 2 years. “Games have been there to be won but instead a late goal cost them a point at home to Brighton and two against Arsenal” When writing an article about other people’s errors, it’s probably a good idea to get basic facts right. Harrison Reed - Official: Signs for Fulham
Lord Duckhunter replied to washsaint's topic in The Saints
But even when the decision is shown to be technically wrong but close and they stick with umpires call, the pundits don’t start banging on “ that was hitting the wicket, there’s 3 ex pros up here that knew it was hitting the wicket, it’s a farce”, which is what Shearer was doing. They accept that in close calls, the decision stays with the umpires initial decision even if subsequent video shows it could have been wrong. You’d think the BBC would have got a ref in to brief their experts. ****enburg gave a perfect explanation on this weeks Times Podcast, and Graham Poll did so when discussing our handball on BT sport. Shearer and those clowns tonight were just factually incorrect by having a dig at the bloke watching the video. He was following protocol, they’re paid to research that protocol before spouting BS. Spot on. The clowns in the studio are doing my ****ing head in about VAR. It is for clear and obvious errors, and for matters of fact, not subjective decisions. Cricket commentators understand umpires call, and if given not out, Hawkeye can show the ball hitting the stumps and it’s still not out. They don’t come out with “what a farce “, etc etc like shearer and the other numpties today. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

**** me, are we going to have this every time there’s a decent cup performance by a lower league team. Bristol City, they’ll whip us, Wigan, they’ll whip us. Coventry, they’ll whip us. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Nicola Cortese wants to return to English footie
Lord Duckhunter replied to Delmary's topic in The Saints
Come on, that’s a bit harsh. It’s the greatest wave football has ever known. Players, managers and the board have all ridden it for nearly 4 years, despite hardly any of them being here when the wave started. Koeman, Mane, VvD, Toby, Bertrand, Cedric, Pelle, they all rode the ****ing Nicola wave. Calling it a wave is not doing it justice. A tsunami is more appropriate, The Cortese tsunami...... That’s brilliant support Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I don’t want to write the bloke off before he signs, but I’m going to because it gives me another opportunity to slag the board off. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If Sanchez goes to Man Utd, will it be pr lies or ineptitude from Man C? Jesus, who do people think we are Real Madrid? We’re so attractive that nobody could ever prefer another club, unless it’s “ineptitude “ from our board. Are other clubs supporters like this, god surely not. Some people don’t seem to understand that players, for various reasons , choose one club over another. In any transfer there’s probably at least 2 or 3 clubs interested in the player, who can then only sign for one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Let’s have some serious managerial options
Lord Duckhunter replied to Pilchards's topic in The Saints
He inherited a team that were the 8th best in the league last season. If that's the Titanic I dread to think where you believe Saints are in the footballing hierarchy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Any new owner will be a hero if they deliver Newcastle 3 top 8 finishes , a cup final and 2 European campaigns in the next 4 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
