  1. Any pub suggestions, haven’t been there for years. Looking for Real Ale in the day & grab a granny at night. Don’t want to be drowning my sorrows sat night with a load of nippers & Shiite music. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Has anyone managed Real Madrid was hasn’t won anything or played for them? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. If we had Chiellini at centre half instead of Wes, Khedira in the midfield instead of OR & we had Costa & Dybala supporting Higuain, I’d agree with you. Why stop at Juve, why not set up like Man C or Barca the next 2 games. I’d love for us to really have a go like they do. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. This nonsense that Brexiters are deluded or live in a fantasy world is pony. They are fully aware of exactly where the land lies. Frasier Nelson hit the nail on the head when asked why the ERG group of MP’s welcomed May’s latest speech, despite it making concessions that were unpalatable to them. His reply was The EU will chuck it out anyway, so they can appear reasonable and conciliatory and still get what they want. The more the EU continue with their hardline approach, the more likely a no deal scenario is. They will bring the Government down over “A” or “the” customs union ( although probably won’t have to as Morgan was backing down at a rapid rate of knots on Sunday, now May has “listened” to her concerns) and the electorate won’t accept free movement, ruling out the SM. The EU gave David Cameron **** all because they knew he’d recommend staying in regardless. A German embassy source confirmed to Andrew Neil that they were also sure that the British people would vote to stay in, so didn’t give him any concessions. They misjudged the British electorate then and they’re misjudging them now. They are the deluded ones living in a fantasy land if they think playing hardball will soften British public opinion, it’ll just harden it and bring more on the side of no deal. 6. Perhaps you should let him know. http:// http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/11219934/toby-alderweireld-declares-himself-fit-for-tottenhams-top-four-battle According to journos on Sunday Supplement the other week, he’s being frozen out because he won’t sign a new contract, he’s easily ready for bench. They suggested it showed Poch’s ruthlessness, evidently he’s been the same with Danny Rose because of his wages outburst ( he’s now fit to play) and he also blanked Walker because he wanted out. 7. The manager picks Dier over Vic, and leaves Rose (now he’s fit) out. He seems to be freezing Toby out as well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Boruc Clyne Shaw Lovren Fonte Cork Schneiderlin Wanyama Lambert Davis Lallana Ward-Prowse JRod Chambers Yoshida Gaston That’s 16 he had to pick from. Are your seriously trying to say Puel had better overall squad than that? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Makes you wonder why the great man had Yoshida & Fonte on the bench. Lambert, Lallana, Pre injured JRod, Morgan, Davis of 2013, Lovren . Would all walk into the side we had last season, Cork would be close. You can’t really moan about Hooiveld playing, when Fonte & Yoshida were on the bench. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  11. Love the way you’ve gone back through my posts, bloody must have taken a long time. However you should have gone back a bit further. You’d then have seen that my post “ Chris Coleman” was a guess after this post, as opposed to a choice. What was my choice instead of Koeman, to save you trawling through anymore, I’ve done it for you. Note, not Coleman. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  14. Miracle? 1 win from survival when he took over, 2 when he left. Hardly water into wine stuff. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  16. Correct. Silva should be judged on his 18th place, he got Hull to 18th, up 2 places. He did not however , nearly get them to 17th ( and therefore safety) as some have claimed. Is it really that hard to understand? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Latest Labour hypocrisy. Attacking Tories for bringing in ID checks to prevent voter fraud. However, it’s been pointed out that you have to show photo ID to attend some Labour Party meetings and they also legislated for ID checks to vote in Northern Ireland. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. They’re clearly relevant when debating whether you “nearly avoided relegation”. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. If I posted that Puel nearly finished 7th, then the number of points off 7th is a valid point. It was posted that Silva nearly saved Hull from relegation, I merely pointed out that this was in fact, untrue. They were nearer safety when he took over. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Here you go. This is pretty much the response you get when you dare suggest we up our game in regards of atmosphere. Unfortunately we have far to many who turn up at home and sit on their hands waiting to be entertained. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. An old fashioned idea would be for every team to play each other twice and then keep a tally or a league table. The best team would be the one that finished top, the second best team finishes second etc etc. Much better than the complicated Saints web method, where you measure points above relegation , or goals scored, or excitement at matches. Me I’m a bit old fashioned and stick to the old fashioned method. Under Lawrie we were second best, under Koeman 6th best, under Puel 8th best etc etc. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Careful, you can’t write this. When I contrasted Palace fans Monday with ours Saturday I got accused of blaming the fans for our performances, being a wum, and being wrong because Palace actually lost. Some on here don’t seem to grasp the fact that the whole home support getting behind the side for 90+ mins may just nick us an extra point, a point that could make all the difference. Of course it may not help, but I’ve yet to see any side play worse because of a vocal hostile home atmosphere. I can’t recall one manager or player asking supporters to pipe down their support because it’s putting them off and making them play worse. So the worst that can happen is no difference, and the best,we play better and maybe pick up an extra point or two. We’ve 2 options, sit there waiting for some scintillating attacking football to up the atmosphere, or try and create some ourselves that may inspire the players a bit. 23. Exactly. 3 points from safety in Jan, relegated 6 points adrift. Yet the story some are selling is that they were down & out, and he did remarkable job nearly keeping them up. His spell and Watford was on a par with the 2 previous managers, both judged as failures. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. As would every single team outside the top 6. Poch would also have taken that when he was manager of Southampton. Of course his 8th was the greatest 8th the top flights ever seen and Puels the worst. And it was so much harder in the cups in those faraway days, than the easy run Puel had.
