  1. Come on, we’re talking about the minute the second goal went it, people ****ed off. 10 minutes left, 2-1 down and they left. Same as Burnley and Leicester, pitiful. Even if I was watching 2 neutral teams on tv I wouldn’t switch off at 2-1 with 10 left. Let alone my own side. You can not tell me people who leave early, week in week out (and that’s how bad it’s become, I sit on the end of an aisle and see them), are supporters. The excuse used to be traffic, now it’s Shiite football, the real reason is they’re Shiite supporters, fickle. I can’t imagine the agony of walking away from the ground not knowing what’s happening behind me, listening to the noise of the stadium, thinking have we scored, was that close. Bunch of ****ing ****s. I’m not talking about staying and clapping the useless players off the pitch, I’m taking about staying to will your team on the last 10 mins, but also being so addicted to football that you can’t leave any game with the result in the balance. We’ve got too many that don’t get it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Thought the bloke did ok tonight. Proper professional performance. Journeymen has become a term of abuse, but in his case it shouldn’t be so. Didn’t let anyone down tonight and it can’t be easy not playing week in week out and then having to perform. For a club our size he proved tonight he’s a decent squad player. 3. Thanks to SW railways just got in now. Haven’t read any comments on this thread, just going to add my own and apologies if it’s all been said earlier. They were there for the taking tonight, they looked leggy and off colour. The fact we didn’t take advantage is ****ing criminal. First half ok, second woeful. Tadic and Boufal shocking second half, Today was the day we needed them and they went missing. Long worked hard again, but second half was useless. Bertrand looked off the pace to me, and OR is a shadow of the player he was last season. PEH, played well and a shout out for Pied, who I thought did well considering his lack of game time. A proper professional imo. The game was our whole season in 90 mins and it’s so predictable. Too safe, too nice, too one paced. The manager now clearly needs to go, but I want to see 5 or 6 others follow him out the door. Our players attitudes and mental toughness is clearly lacking, the sooner some of them **** off the better. Yet again our support was shocking, people ****ing off as soon as they scored the second. 10 minutes left, but they ****ed off. We truly are the worst supporters in the whole league. At least a third are a bunch of sky groupies and tourists. Shocking . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. I hope we win tonight and win next week and the week after, in fact I hope we win every fi king game we play. Sorry if that's un nuanced. Actually I hope we score 2 worldies in the last 5 mins and the fickle twts who **** off at 85 mins miss them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. **** me, you hope we lose . Are you for real? Everything that's wrong with our support summed up there. " I hope we lose". ****ing hell Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. It's that the same Chris Nicholl suffering with memory and health issues now? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. **** me, what an ignorant post. There's some lovely areas of Liverpool . Certainly every bit as nice as Southampton. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Course I do. But top players that are made available will be touted around all window. We’re not Barca where players get a once in a lifetime chance to move. We’re in a big pot with about a dozen other sides. What’s an agent going to do, suggest the player accepts the first offer or will he be on the blower to Fat Sam, West Ham, Leicester “ Player X is available , Saints have offered him 60k a week and the selling club have accepted £20 mil, are you interested ?” If you’re talking about players like Sturridge and Walcott, unless the player insists on moving to us (as Rooney did with Everton) it’s gonna drag out. It suits all parties if there’s a bidding war, except of course the buying club. If a player signs early in the window it means he desperately wants to come, or it’s a big step up for him and he doesn’t want to miss out. The other reason could be the selling club are desperate for money, but the pool we’re now buying from, that’s becoming less and less likely. Most players won’t give a Shiite which mid table club they sign for, so it makes sense not to sign too early. Even players and agents clubs want rid of have most of the power. 9. You do understand that other teams, agents and the player himself have a say in it don’t you. You don’t buy players off the shelf in Tesco. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Wouldn’t surprise me, he hardly bust a gut in matches so could easily gone through the motions at training as well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. It wasn't vague at all. Was at Huddersfield game. Will be announced this week. Apart from the name, he's been pretty open. I know the name is the most important aspect of the whole thing, but clearly people may need to protect their sources. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. 1-1 mike dean Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Zaha dive, could he get a ban for deceiving ref? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Should have let Benteke take it. Lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I think people struggle to get their head round his and dinosaurs like Dave Merrington don’t help. Like it or not rotation is here to stay, particularly when you’ve got a squad where most players are much of a muchness. A lot of it is about avoiding injuries, so there’s nothing tangible to judge whether it’s worked or not. Would Cedric & Bertrand now be on the sidelines had they been rotated more, would PEH be playing so well, if he hadn’t been. Who knows? The way I look at it, the club have the medical expertise , have the data from training and matches, they’re probably best placed to decide who needs a rest and who doesn’t Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. The way Palace set up plays exactly to our weaknesses. Big centre forward and 2 flying wingers, they’re now pretty hard to break down and they break quickly. I’m just hoping that 2 games since Thursday, including one today will catch up with them, more than us who’ve had an extra day. Otherwise this is a tough game Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. But fickle enough to call for the managers head after less than 20 games in charge. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Personally, I’d play them both at home. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. **** sake. If you can't see the difference between the keeper & outfield players when it comes to rotation you really are clueless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. You don't believe for one minute he'll drop the keeper. You're just trying to shoe horn your dislike of the manager into another thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. **** me, can we finish with the "he's going to be rotated " joke. It's wearing a bit thin. If he stays injury free he'll be in nets Tuesday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Really? when was the last time a keeper kept a clean sheet and he dropped him. Can't you stop with the sniping for tonight. I doubt if there's one person, even you, who really believes FF will be in nets Tuesday (unless McCarthy is injured). It's less than an hour since the end of the game and we've have the "he'll drop McCarthy joke" from different posters about 6 times already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Well done The Manager. Criticised pre game for playing Long & leaving out Lamina on pre game thread, but tactically got it spot on. Proved here and at City that he can set sides up to contain the big boys, just needs to prove he can break down sides that sit back at our place. The jury's still out for me, but nobody can doubt the players played for him tonight. Well deserved point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Lol. Watford squad vpoor. His record is no different than the previous 2 Watford managers, both of whom were sacked. I guess their squads were much better. What do you think of Kammy slating Watford’s tactics at 1-0 up? Stating they were just sitting on the lead playing for a 1-0. With such a vpoor squad I guess that’s the only tactics you can employ against Swansea Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. He’s not physical enough. Longs far from perfect, but he’s the only player that could play isolated alone. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
