Corbyn wasn't always a defender of free speech when it came to public art. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/4700482.stm Seems that he marched to stop Mo being drawn, but was in favour of anti Semitic art ( until he got found out), on the basis of free speech. His defence always seems to be "I'm a ****ing idiot", didn't realise the FB group he joined was anti Semitic, didn't know his friend who set up the group was, didn't notice this picture. Who is he,?Chauncey Corbyn, a hapless gardener tending McDonnell's roses who gets mistaken for a political genius. He sacks Owen Smith for calling for a second referendum, but leaves his ex squeeze Abbott in post ( despite calling for same thing). He's a clueless buffoon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If Rickie Lambert came out of retirement...

Perhaps we should get a “crossing from the right” coach. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
I had a few beverages with the unit manager of a very large B&Q last night and this came up in discussion about wages. According to him they have 3 levels of staff. Management, experts & ordinary staff. Management negotiate their own salary with him but within certain bandings , experts are ex plumbers etc and they’re paid according to qualifications & again it’s open to negotiation. Ordinary staff are paid exactly the same hourly rate, regardless of whether you’re warehouse or check outs. He reckons the issue isn’t with in store warehouse staff, but with their distribution warehouses. Staff there are predominantly male and paid more than the instore staff. This is because historically these staff are unionised, many tupied over when they expanded and took over the distribution centres from other retailers and there’d be mayhem in numerous stores if these warehouses didn’t have an engaged workforce. They’re also more skilled, driving fork lifts and the like. Interestingly he reckons his female managers are better leaders, better “man managers”, but hopeless at the brinksmanship required when negotiating salaries. My Mrs asked why he didn’t reward the better managers, he just laughed and basically said, why should he when he didn’t need to & it’s up to them to push for more money. I know it’s just a snap shot, but it does show that there’s various issue that cause a pay gap, but not specifically because of your gender. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Penalty taking coach, wtf is that. Shall we have a throw in coach, or a goal kick coach. Is there another club in the country with a penalty taking coach? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

It’s very simple for me. Do these retailers pay men who work on the tills (and they do, I was served by a bloke in Tesco today) more then they pay women on the till. Do they pay women working in the warehouse less then men that work in the warehouse. I’m pretty sure the answer in both cases is no. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I’d be more concerned if this was midweek before the Boscombe game. Could the Swansea game be that week? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What because Jenkins thinks so, must be true then. An opinion piece by a rabid remainer thats all it is. There is absolutely zero chance of any government of this country accepting free movement. Having twice voted to stay out of the EU, there’s a lot to admire about the Norwegians, but any deal that continues with free movement is dead in the water. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I thought I'm going nuts. I've seen 3 or 4 posts asking for seating plan, and it's there. Perhaps they left it off the original announcement and added it later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Unless I'm missing something, there's a seating plan at the bottom of the announcement, after the ticket dates and before the coach travel details. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What Is The Most Amazing Place In The World That You Have Been Too
Lord Duckhunter replied to Gemmel's topic in The Lounge
I went to Israel as a teenager back in the 70’s it was a fantastic place. Did all the Bethlehem & Jerusalem stuff, but the highlight for me was a resort on the Sea of Galilee. I keep trying to take the snap dragon there, but she’s a bottle job and won’t go. Personally, I love the Greek islands, the people are fantastic, weather great in spring & summer, and there’s some beautiful beaches and little coves. Kos being my favourite. South Florida is also a personal favourite, and the west coast of FLA, Tampa/ St Pete is beautiful . Cities, Dublin Miami & Montpellier stand out. For the crack it’s Playa del Inglés / Maspalomas, its like 18-30’s holiday for 50 year olds. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Probably the most sensible criteria we’ve ever used, they only needed to count away games for members and it would have been perfect. Counting games that fall out of ST remit is clearly fairest as is prioritising memberships bought pre Wigan over post Wigan. My eldest son had a mad scramble for EFL & Milan tickets with members signed up just to get tickets for those games despite having bought his membership pre season. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It really is a bit of a joke how ****ing long they’re taking to decide or announce it. It’s only 2 games, one is clearly first choice. What’s so complicated about it? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Agreed. I’ve wanted out since Maastricht, another 21 months isn’t going to matter. I don't know what will happen now. We've got some difficult days ahead. But it really doesn't matter now, because DD has been to the mountaintop. And looked over. And he’s seen the Promised Land and we, as a people, will get to the Promised Land on 31/12/2020 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I thought anyone could define themselves as a bloke or a chick without surgery nowadays. If Martina believes that Mac is paid more because he's a bloke, why doesn't she just define as a male ( she's halfway there anyway), and she'll automatically get a pay rise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We need numbers in the central midfield area, whether that’s a 3-5-2 or 4-2-3-1 or even a diamond with the full backs pushed on, we’ll get passed to death if we don’t. The only way a traditional( or as it’s become known, a Merrington) 4-4-2 can work is if you sit in with 2 banks of 4 & one of the strikers drops in. Basically Leicester when they won the league. I don’t think we’ve got the players to play that way. No Vardy, although long could probably do an Okazaki defensively, isn’t going to pop up with valuable goals. For all their talent Boufal & Tadic aren’t going to knock great passes like Mahrez. We’d end up just sitting so deep, with no out ball. The key to scoring goals in any system is getting enough blokes forward, something we’ve failed miserably to do since Ron left. How many times the past 2 seasons has there been one or two players only busting a gut to get into the box? Tadic, Davis, Boufal, Redmond , JWP all like to drift around outside of it, picking up the pieces and recycling the ball. They don’t gamble, don’t get beyond the striker and don’t show any desire to get on the end of things. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

God, we're going to have numerous posts bemoaning the unfairness of the ticket allocation for the next month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Having watched football for so long. Has there ever been a semi final at a non neutral ground in the history of English or European football. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Just shows how big a part luck plays. The Skates got Barnsley, WBA, Cardiff in their semi final draw, looks like we’re getting 3 of the top 5. Utd look the weakest of the 3 at the moment, but who knows come April. Just don’t want Spurs, losing at their home ground will grate for a while. Dream scenario would be Leicester to come back in their game, draw them, then Utd in final. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I thought the keeper played well, particularly first half. Very solid, probably have a couple more points if The Mummy was dropped earlier. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
The Corbyn supporters seem to miss the point that Russia wanted to make it obvious they did it. They wanted to send out a message. Corbyn knows full well they did it, but his lifetime obsession with going against the West and siding with our opponents overrides anything. Had the suspicion been it was a Mossad operation, would Jezza be asking the same questions ? Course he wouldn’t. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
