  1. It’s made the games better. Who wants yellow cards thrown around like confetti? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. American attitude towards illegal immigration has always been harsh, and racist long long before Donald Trump. Nobody could get elected without sounding tough on it. It was racist way back in the 80’s, and I should know having been an illegal in Florida for over 4 years. I’ve been on building sites when they turned up and rounded up the Mexican workers, never once checking the status of us white guys. The people we worked for, both contractors and the public, knew we were illegal but didn’t give a Shiite because we weren’t Mexican or Haitian. I was arrested for disorderly intoxication, charged, fined and never once had my immigration status checked. A Scouse taxi driver I knew served time for hitting his girlfriends lover with a tire wrench. Once he’d served his time he was sure he’d be deported, but no he was just released and INS never got involved. I only knew of one white bloke that got deported (his ex grassed him up), but I knew of hundreds of Mexican labourers in that time. It’s not racist because the president is, it’s racist regardless of who the president is. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. People writing him off before he’s even signed need to have a look at themselves. Perhaps I’m a bit old fashioned but I’ll wait to see him play for Saints. I also believe clubs our size have to sign some players with potential, there are 26 year olds in Scotland who are at the peak of their game. Obviously you wouldn’t want to sign one of them, but part and parcel of scouting is identifying the ones that can improve. Put the guy with better players, in a better league and he could blossom into it. Amateurs like us wont be able to tell, but a professional scouting set up, that’s monitored him for months, if not years, could do. Championship players don’t stay championship standard their whole career, some thrive at a higher level. Maybe he’s one, maybe he’s not, but £7mil is peanuts in the modern game. 4. It’s no coincidence that the Fulham manager is also a Serb. He’s caused Rafa nothing but trouble, so personally I wouldn’t take the chance. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. The line forms part of the penalty area. If the keeper handles the ball on the line, it’s not handball but if a foul is committed on the line, it’s a pen. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  7. So the truth is exactly what I stated, Canada do separate children from their parents. You seem to imply that it’s ok provided the numbers are less than the US. Personally, I’m against it in principle regardless of numbers. I’ve no doubt there’s dozens of other countries that do it as well. Wrong, right, or right until it reaches a certain number, what’s your position? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Brilliant from Tadic Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Another good VAR call. Shiite pen though Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Perhaps you missed this bit in my post. “Personally I think 1 child separated from his family and locked up is too many” So I’m just curious how Trudeau has the balls to criticise US policy, when he’s government does the exact same thing. You may think asking that question is being a Cu_nt, that’s up to you, I couldn’t really care less. Seeing has I’ve yet to see any criticism of the Canadian Government, I can only conclude that some Trump’s critics are only critical of the numbers, rather than the policy. If The US separated the same number of kids Canada does, what that make it ok ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. I’ve amended it for you. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Wasn't he a Democrat previously ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I hope our useless referees were sat at home watching that. Man enough to admit a mistake, even against a top nation , and then his management of CR time wasting brilliant. He's not to know whether the keeper & the other 2 were really injured, so just calmly let them recover, then added the correct amount of time on. What frustrates people and encourages time wasting is not enough gets added on most of the time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Strong refereeing there, brilliant. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Is the latest criticism of Trump and his migrant children policy a question of the principle or numbers. Canada do the same thing, albeit in far far fewer numbers, but I don’t recall much luvvie outrage over that. Personally I think 1 child separated from his family and locked up is too many, but Peter Fonda and the other virtual signallers clearly disagree. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. When the **** are these commentators going to learn the rules on VAR? ****ing plum stating that one day someone is going to be ruled off side, everyone will stop , he’ll roll it into net and then VAR will overrule the offside and award a goal . FFS, if the ref blows for offside and everyone stops, its a free kick , end of, You can’t go to VAR. If the linesman flags but the ref doesn’t blow, you play to the whistle, exactly as you do without VAR. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Totally irrelevant to the point I was making. Holding VvD to his contract was clearly the wrong decision. End of. How much that affected our season is debatable, but whether we should have just sold in July, rather than Jan, is not imo. To repeat the same mistake with Tadic would be madness Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. The VAR suggests the ref looks at the incident and the ref then decides whether he’d have given it had he got a clear view. The VAR doesn’t say “that’s a pen”, it’s entirely down to the ref. Where the ref was wrong imo, was that he booked him. It doesn’t have to be deliberate to be a pen, but it does need to be for a booking to follow. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. FFS my Makem mate was going to stay at ours and we were both going to go. It’s 3 days before Xmas, useless ****s can’t even get that right. I can’t even go up there, as it clashes with Boscombe home. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. It’s not VAR that was harsh, it was the ref. It was his decision. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Some of the clowns on here seem to have incredibly short memories. If he wants to go , he needs letting go. Look what happened last time we insisted a bloke stayed. Tadic doesn’t strike me as the knuckling down type if denied a move, so if he’s determined to go it makes sense to sell. Had this come up in March I think most would say get rid, but fair play to the guy, he showed some great commitment and ability the last 7 or so games. He can be hit and miss but he’s got a wonderful touch, up there with Bally & Matt as the best I’ve seen in a Saints shirt. But at the end of the day he’s nearing 30, we’ve had 4 years out of him and he’s not going to get much of a break this summer, so could possibly dip next season. Personally I’d rather keep him, but it’s not the end of the world if he goes. As for release clauses. We keep hearing various players have them, but I can’t recall a player that’s left after ones been activated. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Horrific isn’t she. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. ****ing hell, are you this much of a twt in real life. Is it really that hard to understand that if your choice is 2 similar sized clubs, and you were happy to play for either, a player may want to be a few miles away from his family rather than a couple of hours away. Clearly if it was Leicester or Juve , the player would move away to further his career. But if an Italian chooses Juve over Bayern for family reason, it doesn’t make him a mummy’s boy or some sort of pussy. Most normal people when given a similar choice would rather be near their parents, brothers, sisters, uncles etc, if possible. He’s not turning down a bigger club because he’s pussy whipped, like a certain Southampton legend did, he’s chosen between similar. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Spot on Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. What a load of pony. We did compete to sign him, a fee was agreed. If that’s not “competing” I don’t know what is, the player just choose another similar club. Are you so arrogant and deluded that you think every single player we want, should sign. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
