Not much in it in my opinion. He's a bit stronger and knocks a better ball, whereas Yoshida is quicker and is a tough little bugger. Pleased they're both in the squad. Personally, I think Yoshida's great team ethic keeps him out, he's easier to drop Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Prettt fair result, maybe we should have nicked it. Bertrand man of the match for me, best performance this season . Forester did well, and well played Redmond. Tactically spot on. Fair play to the 3 centre halves, it’s not easy to play like that with limited preparation. Undone by individual errors, 2 poor misses , giving away a soft free kick and gave Sterling too much space at the death. Said to the bloke next to me as the clock ticked down past 94, “they’ll get one more chance, it’s whether they take it”. Unfortunately they did. Our time wasting wasn’t subtle enough, no complaints from me about 5 added mins. Touch of class from Boufal. Finally, anyone who wonders why Long instead of Austin or Gabbi is clueless. The ONLY man for that job in our squad was Long. He performed a thankless task, harried, battled, did exactly what was required for the role in our set up. Gabbi & Austin couldn’t have done it. He didn't make it at Utd because he wasn't good enough. He was one of the worst players in the worst side to visit St Mary's for a very long time. He's nowhere near good enough to start instead of OR or Lemina, so there's absolutely no point in signing him. JWP & PEH are younger and should be the next cabs off the rank if they're out. I’ve posted time & time again that he’s over rated on here, and received loads of stick for saying it. Was pretty decent for us, but that was his level. Even at his best he’s not a patch on Big Vic or Lemina, and OR is better defensively by a mile. Had he not left us, he would have been a squad player by now. I'm not sure about him and would have preferred Puel to stay, but judging a bloke after a dozen or so games is madness. Not acknowledging how well he did today is classless. Best performance of the season. Was worried when I saw the line up, but JWP & PEH played really really well. Boufal now resembles a footballer rather than a 5 a side play station player and I thought Wes played really well. Even The Mummy did ok. Managers tactics and substitutions were spot on. Amazing what having a goal scorer can do for a side, although let's not get carried away Everton were woeful. I've been pretty critical of our support, but it was good today.
