  1. Genuinely surprised Boscombe game is 3pm. I was told by someone quite senior in Dorset police that Hants police were going to insist it was an early kick off because there were a lot of incidents last season. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Twitter and other social media is more biased & unbalanced than any newspaper. It reinforces opinions rather than challenge them, because people mainly block or don’t follow people or institutions with differing views. As many have pointed out it’s an echo chamber. Most newspapers tend to have some columnists with different views, apart from The Times which seems to be all pinkos. Whether it’s d'Ancona at the Guardian, Rod Liddle at the sun or Hodges in the Mail, the written press isn’t quite as one eyed or biased as is made out. Certainly not as bad as Little Owen Jones who just about blocks everybody that has a contrary opinion to his. By far and away the worst form of political reporting is TV. Whether Sky, ITV or the BBC, they all seem to have forgotten the art of reporting the news. Way way too much analysis, newsreaders interviewing reporters on what they think or what they heard. Smug twts like Nick Watt, Kuenssberg (although I would) and Faisal Islam, seem more intent on telling us how clever they are or how well connected they are, rather than tell us the news. 3. But he hasn’t dithered. Dithering would be being unsure, deciding he wants rid one minute before changing his mind the next. There is absolutely no evidence at all of this. He’s been pretty steadfast, Pel is stating, end of. Your definition of dithering appears to be, doing something you’re against. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. I’d say it’s going pretty well. Give Corbyn & momentum another 4 years & it’ll be pretty much unelectable Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Let’s nationalise food “It’s clearly a natural monopoly, after all people only have one” mouth. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I’m not making comment on the rights and wrongs, that’s been done to death on here. I think everybody knows every bodies views without starting the same old arguments again. My point was Osborne is now calling for us to remain in The or A customs union, when he made it very clear during the campaign that this wasn’t possible. As Chancellor surely he was aware of the complexities, so if this option was possible why did he specifically say it wasn’t? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Did anyone listen to his incoherent speech today, how anyone can take him seriously is beyond me. His opposition to a free market in the delivery of letters and parcels was a classic Steptoe moment. The Royal Mail should be a monopoly because people only have one letter box. WTF....... http:// http://www.spiked-online.com/newsite/article/jeremy-corbyns-great-betrayal/21152#.WpQlrsqnyf0 Spot on regarding this man of principle. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Instead of sniping from the sidelines because he got sacked perhaps Osborne should have stayed in Parliament where his opinion counted. If staying in the Customs or A customs union whilst leaving the EU was possible or desirable in the event of leaving perhaps him and Cameron should have said so during the referendum campaign. All we keep hearing about is how nobody explained what sort of out we voted for, well Osborne did. Out of SM & out of CU. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Arsenal deserve losing 5 or 6 today, ****ing woeful. Disgraceful Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  17. What’s everyone’s obsession with 4-4-2 it’s like everyone has got Merringtonittis. Our issue isn’t not playing 2 up front it’s zero goals and support from the 3 behind the 1. Tadic, Redmond, Boufal, Davo & JWP goal scoring record is woeful & their chances created are just as bad. They also rarely get behind the 1 & break from midfield. It worked yesterday because we had nothing to lose and were getting men into the box, you can get just as many men into the box with a 4-2-3-1 as was proved when we played similar systems under previous managers. If we play a 4-4-2 with these players and this manager, we will lose control of the ball, get out numbered in the centre of midfield and will leave our top 2 isolated up front. One change could be Gabbi in the 10, but I’m not sure how he’d do in that system, another way could be a diamond in midfield, although the forum experts derided that last season. 19. The BBC list every fixture as being on a Sat, until the games are officially changed for TV. If you put FA cup dates in google it leads you to the FA’s own website which lists the dates of every round as a Saturday (it doesn’t say “games played over the weekend of”). It appears the default is 3pm on Saturday, until its officially changed . It still maybe a Sat, but I wouldn’t take the bbc as proof it is. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Literally the most moronic post on Saints web ever. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Don’t the BBC always put fixtures as Sat until TV dates are confirmed Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. I stand to be corrected but I believe FIFA rules mean countries can insist players join up Monday morning. Countries can waive this right & give dispensation to players to report late. However my understanding is if more than 2 players are called up, clubs can postpone fixtures. Therefore Saints/ Swansea / Spurs would have to be in negotiation with various countries to allow late reporting of their internationals. Sheffield Weds V Rochdale may not fall into this category. The FIFA regulation isn’t games can’t be played or players can’t play, just that countries can stop players playing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Donny v Bradford is on sky Monday, so I would assume Rochdale V Sheffield Weds could be and not bother FIFA regulations much, don’t know how many internationals Sheffield Weds have, but I’m sure one or two could get special dispensation to report a day later. Not that it’ll be the tie, probably the most unlikely combination. Can not see any premiership teams involved that day, just too many international players. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Away, Arsenal and Liverpool last season Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. I was only thinking that the other day, whilst I was watching their champions league campaign. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
