  1. Problem is if they make the final and lose, people will want him out. Although if he makes 7th or above he may get a stay of execution Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Spot on. There were rumours he was unhappy last year , so it's clearly not all down to the new manager. Makes me laugh when people defend him , saying he doesn't get much support or can't play on his own. First point is he gets the exact same support as Charlie and secondly, he's Italian. An Italian moaning about a defensive set up is like a sailor moaning about the sea. He was first choice at the start of the year and ****ed it up. Had that been Sam Gallagher people would have said he's not good enough. Not made a load of stupid excuses. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Had I said that it would have been complete nonsense, or pony even. Seeing as I said " the past 6 weeks", I don't quite understand why you've quoted figures from the whole season. As for formations, what sort of argument is that. If a side play the same formation week in, week out , does it mean the manager knows his best formation when they score & win, but doesn't when they lose. Bizarre train of thought Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. This is complete nonsense. Just because he’s changed formation against City, Arsenal & Chelsea doesn’t mean he doesn’t know his best formation. It’s called being flexible, if he played the same formation against every side he’d be accused of having no plan B. He’s played the same formation in nearly every game. I’d also suggest he knows his best team in “ winnable” games the past 6 weeks . He plays the same keeper & full backs when fit, plays VvD , OR , Tadic , Boufal & Austin. That’s 8 regulars, pretty steady for a side that keeps losing games. Again, if he played the same 11 week in week out, he’d face criticism. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Player discipline nothing to do with manager then? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Another Watford sending off, the new Jose really needs to sort their discipline out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. He could write better posts on a football forum as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Changing formations against Man C & Arsenal worked, so it makes complete sense to go similar today. VvD needed a kick up the arse and Lemina is coming back from a long lay off. Some people just like criticising for the sake of it. People with absolutely no knowledge of whose got a slight knock, whose in the red zone and whose trained well the past 2 days Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. What do people want, him to play Austin every game until he breaks down. I can tell you one thing if he got injured today and missed Huddersfield at home the same clowns moaning about leaving him out would have something to say about it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Perfect game to stamp his authority & drop VvD, he’s had it coming for weeks and let’s face it we’re not going to win even with him in the side. As for Austin, he’s needed over the next month, makes sense to rest him for this one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Lol, had a rough day but that jokes really cheered me up. “Wants to make the World Cup squad” , **** me that’s funny Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. He shouldn't be sold , he should be put on the bench for a few weeks. I'm convinced the rot set in when we pandered to this way anchor and put him back in the side as if nothing had happened. That includes the supporters as well, they let the bloke bend us over and **** us up the arse , whilst giving Redmond and FF clog during the game. As shiete as they are, at least their giving 100%. Wish we had a Jimmy Case or Terry Hurlock to knock the Dutch twt out, that'll sort him out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It interesting that this has come up. I was listening to The Times podcast discussing West Ham's win against Chelsea. James Scowcroft said he'd played in poor sides where some players had downed tools and were going through the motions. Claimed that they played well against the big clubs for 2 reasons. One was they wanted a move and the other was they faced humiliation if they didn't . Said sides will take half committed sides apart and score 6 or 7. He said when judging players attitudes don't make that Judgement after they've played a big club, but when they've played their peers. When they've played sides which have players of similar ability, then you can judge who is putting it in and who isn't. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. What a load of pony. It's not about value for money or entertainment, it's about going to watch a sporting contest. I want to see my team win first and foremost and if they entertain me doing so, then that's a bonus. Were you entertained last night? Because I ****ing wasn't . A neutral would of been because Leicester played some really smashing stuff. Personally, I'd have preferred a 0-0 draw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. What sums up the ignorance of some of our fans was a conversation I overheard queuing for a slash at half time. The gist of which was “why couldn’t Puel produce a performance like that for us”. He did, some of our away performances were excellent, in fact our away performances were as consistent as under his two direct predecessors. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. I was one of the Puel in brigade and I have a season ticket. I also witnessed some really really good away performances. As for the Liverpool semi final, you are the one rewriting history. It all well and good coming out with this pony about the second leg and their "shooting boots", had we had ours on first leg they'd have been 4 down from that. Very convenient loss of memory there. The fact is over 2 legs we thoroughly deserved to win. We did not sit back and hope to hit Hull on the counter attack, if that's how you viewed that game, **** me you must be clueless. You'd rather finish 17th than 8th provided you're entertained, what is this, the Harlem ****ing globetrotters. And you and your buddies around you were seriously considering jacking in your support. I wish you had of, you're hardly the example of loyal supporters. Still at least you got to see some exciting football last night. Of course it meant the loss of 3 points, but that doesn't matter to you does it, rather that than a boring old 0-0. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Too easy to blame the manager. These players are on easy street, ****ing bigger egos than talent. He'll probably be another manager that loses his job on the back of their lack of application. He's doing his best week in week out, there's not many players that are doing the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. We were told by certain posters that the players wanted Puel out. What emerged tonight was what some of us believed all along, that with this bunch of ****ing dead beats he did a ****ing good job. Woeful , inept and damn right disgraceful tonight. They should be embarrassed , but doubt they will be. Bertrand (one of the alleged me or Puel gang) was terrible, VvD going through the motions AGAIN. I don't think I've seen Davo as poor. Tadic shocking even by his lowish standards. Boufal ineffective, Cedric didn't look fit to me, and OR average. Charlie Austin worked hard, but missed a sitter that may have changed the game and Lemina did ok . It's too easy to blame the manager, the players out there should have done better. He went with experience and was let down badly. I'm not jumping on the bandwagon of wanting him out, because until tonight , the last 4 or 5 games he was showing promise. BUT, he really needs to start kicking a few arses, upsetting a few and bursting some egos. VvD waltzing back in was wrong, as was dropping Jack & PEH tonight. He needs to upset the old order and impose himself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Don’t really know what the guy has to do to be appreciated by some on here. He was thrown in the deep end last season and did really well. He got thrown in during dec against a good attacking side with clever player, in a slightly unusual formation and he did exceptionally well. Had Hoedt made his debut Sunday and played like that the same people would be gushing and wetting their knickers over him. Sunday’s performance was as good as anything Hoedts produced in a Saints shirt. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Great post Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. And they have the new Jose in charge of them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. I don’t blame the bloke. Did really well last season but suddenly found himself 4th choice , there’s not much between him Wes & Yoshida imo. The difference between his performance at the start of his run and the end was marked, he was getting better and better. VvD poncing about all summer and then just put back in the team as if nothing ever happened must be a real kick in the teeth for him. Hopefully Sunday’s performance will have convinced MP to give him a few more games. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. You've got more chance of going to the moon in a shoe box than us signing Giroud Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Stewart Robson is fantastic when on the radio or The Times podcast, I just don't get why he doesn't get mainstream TV gigs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. One bloke Who said he had us playing the best football we'd seen in years? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
