  3. Wonder what Alpine would say had Reed agreed a fee for Courtino & got gazumped Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. You've absolutely no idea what ML would have done once we reached the PL. would he have wanted to push on from 6th or would he have sold up making a massive profit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Also Ox & family played up so he sold him, as he needed the money for cat 1 academy Scouting Courtino with Mitchell & Nigel he saw Poch so started checking him out with agents. Liked his training regime , double sessions etc. Had a working breakfast with somebody interesting today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm sure White is going to suck him off after the show Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Who is that ****ing clown Matt. " Not many like what's happened the last 2 or 3 years". That's bull Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. That must be why he's in so much demand by other clubs, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. With all due respect half of what the OP has written is nonsense. The worrying thing for me is the bit he's got right. There appears to be absolutely no structure or pattern to our play. What are we being coached to play. It just looks like we're told the formation & then players go out and play. With defensive systems or a long ball side , you can see that they're trying to play like that, even if it doesn't work, same with pressing or Counter attacking. What exactly is the bloke trying to do, it's not obvious to anyone. The players were clearly coached last year, we had a way Claude wanted to play, obviously people didn't like it, but it wasn't the tactical mess it has been this season, boring maybe, but not a mess. Look at OR, he clearly knew his role, clearly been coached and was fantastic. This season he's all over the shop, not appearing to know his exact specific role. JWP the same, played out wide most games, clear in his role. We played little triangles & you could see we were trying ( though often failing ) to manufacture an overload down the flanks. Even Austin was clearly given instructions & followed them. Look at the number of times he was the guy getting back to support the full back , people were constantly moaning about him tracking back, but that's not my point. My point is, when they got the ball he did what he was coached to do. This season I've haven't seen any of signs of them being coached & it's worrying. I don't think Koeman was a particularly good coach, but we had Mane & Pelle. Lump it to Pelle was a bit of a get out for us, we haven't got that now. I wouldn't call for the mangers head as I'm not that ****ing stupid, but I've been distinctly unimpressed so far. Not particularly with the results , although they've been disappointing, but with what we're trying to do. We are not good enough to say "here's our 11" and pay no attention to tactics and no attempt to adjust to the opposition. Maybe the attention to detail and the over coaching last season contributed to the players alleged dissatisfaction with Puel, but left alone to just get on with it , or work it out themselves appears even worse. I maybe wrong and he maybe working damn hard on it and suddenly it comes together. But nobody can seriously say they know what style or tactics we're trying to implement. 10. Exactly. It just nuts to try and blame a first team coach, particularly when the modern managers are basically first team coaches that pick the team anyway ( with others doing the other bits old fashioned managers did). I doubt MP is a Bertie Mee type figure that is office based whilst Black is the Don Howe figure coaching & doing the tactical work all week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Good move if he gets out quick. They were the biggest under achievers in the league, so the improvement in year one looked impressive. He may get away with 7th again this season, but if he stays long term they'll want much much more Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Could be interesting if somebody asked him some tough questions. But White is incapable of doing so, it'll be one big love in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Both did a bloody good job, considering they were new to English football. Poch has gone on to prove what a good manger he is, whereas Puel got the sack. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. If Silva gets Watford to 8th & a cup final, do you think he'll have done a good job? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Where have I said that Puel was a better manager. All I've ever said it that 8th & a cup final doesn't deserve the sack. And that the new manger should be judged against that achievement. As we're seeing, take Mane, Pelle & Big Vic out of Koemans side and we're bang average. To get a bang average squad to 8th is a ****ing decent performance, especially in your first season in British football. I don't think Koeman could do it, but we'll never know. It certainly doesn't look like the new bloke can, but it's early days. Maybe the hipsters fav Silva can, because Watford are pretty average as well. Of course if Silva gets Watford to 8th & a final, it'll be all "why didn't we get him" on here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. So if we go down on 45 points whilst playing swashbuckling football, he'd have done better than Puel? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. 3 different managers playing him, is a bit of a stretch. 3 different managers that kept dropping him, is more accurate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. We've played games against Swansea,West Ham, Wolves reserves, Huddersfield & Watford, 4 of which we were at home. We've scored against 11 men once , and won our only game by an injury time peno. We have had by far and away the easiest start of any team in the league. The sides you've listed have played other top sides, had Spurs Liverpool, Everton or Arsenal had the fixtures we'd had they'd be sitting top of the league. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Pony If he gets 45 points & relegated, that's better than 8th in your deluded eyes. We were the 8th best side in the 2016/17 season if we finish lower in the 2017/18 season he's done worse. The way he matches Puel is 8th & a cup final. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. If you were a Boscombe supporter or West Ham you'd have said the same after their home games against Puel's side last season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Not a ****img chance he'd have taken us down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. No we haven't. Like him or loath him, Puels side played with a style. They were coached properly, there was a pattern to the play even if you didn't like the particular pattern. Puel sent his side out to play in a certain way & they played that way. Today was just a mess, no pattern, no structure. It was as if the manager picked the positions and players just went out and played in them. There was absolutely no coherent pattern at all. Shocking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Excuses, excuses Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. 9 more games to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Has anyone claimed that? Of course not, you just made it up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
