  1. Like Stoke did with Berahino? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. It's telling that nobody has been seriously linked since Liverpool "ended their interest" . This suggests one of two things. The football world think he's not for sale & SFC will be firm and consistent on that, or the football world think Liverpool is a done deal. I know which one I believe. 3. Sounds like Meatball is banging Tessem's chick Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Just because a player doesn't sign, doesn't make any itk a liar. I'd be amazed if we weren't interested in him, and haven't been tracking him (especially when it looked like Swansea were going down), but more amazed if he actually signed. In the same bag as VvD to Everton imo . No ****img chance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. No, but coming back from a long lay off it's pretty easy to say " I'm not quite ready " when asked about playing. I posted earlier that I was told medical staff are "surprised" how long the injury has taken to heal. That may not be true, but until he plays some minutes in a friendly, it looks ominous to me. 6. Disappointing crime figures released today. Don't worry, we have an alternative Government in waiting & a Shadow home Sec back on top of her game. 10,000 more police "people", what's not to like? Especially as the money can be found by "cutting, err err, no, by restoring capital gains tax" . It'll raise "170, err err, 200 million". Gets my vote. http://www.itv.com/news/update/2017-07-20/diane-abbott-struggles-again-on-police-funding/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. FFS, if you don't think he wants to play for Liverpool next season, you're deluded. Whether he will is another thing, but you can't really believe he doesn't want to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. And what happened when the Tories tried to bin that & the triple lock, labour and assorted lefties went nuts. Because of the reaction no party will attempt to address this unfairness for a generation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I agree. But I also think it should rise with the cost of living only. What you can buy with it the day you retire, should be the same 5,10,15 years later. Why should you get a 2.5% increase if inflation is at 1.5% & average earnings at 1%? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Was the long term contract part of a Labour PFI deal? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Well you remoaners keep banging on about a slogan on a bus. Article in NME, slogan on bus, what's the difference. Neither were in a manifesto Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Plenty better out there. Forget clean sheets, look at saves made. When do you ever think " how did he save that". If it's on target, it's a high % chance it's in. How many points has he won us since he's been here, not many. Can count his great games on one finger, Arsenal away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Jihadists like this? It's been a long and glorious fight & snowflake remoaners like you need to get your head round it. You're on the wrong side of history on this one I'm afraid. There is only one direction of travel, and that's away from The EU. Even if we get the worst possible outcome, out of the EU, but in The SM/CU, it won't be a staging post for getting back in. Our opt outs will have gone, particularly Schengen & The Euro. With us gone The EU will pursue ever closer union , and more fiscal and monetary union than ever, pushing us further & further away. It won't be long before momentum grows for a complete break. The is no way on earth that the Brits will vote to go back into the EU unless it changes beyond recognition. A Swiss or Norwegian model is unsustainable in the long run. Instead of banging on about different types of "out". The remoaners should have just concentrated their efforts on staying in, because any sort of out, will be permanent. It won't be long before the SM & CU will be getting as much clog and blame as the EU got. The argument that we never really left and that's why growth has stalled, wages are down & immigration is out of control, will be a powerful one. The people on my side of the argument will make the point that had we left properly, done our own trade deals and controlled immigration, we wouldn't be in the mess we are. What do you think, people are going to say "fair play to The EU, let's get closer to them ", if they give us a shiete deal and we crash into a recession. Or will they blame the EU for it and want to get further away from their SM & CU. If I was cynical,I'd think that a soft Brexit pretty much gives us leavers a get out of jail free card. It goes well,it proves we were right to leave & can argue it'll go even better if we were fully out. Goes badly, and we'll argue that we should have left properly in the first place. Either way, there's no going back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I was out with a press bloke tonight, someone with connections at another premier league club. He claims our staff were "surprised" he wasn't fit for the last couple of weeks of the season. That he didn't exactly bust a gut to get fit & play for us again. Dutch players tend to be pretty single minded when it comes to only playing when fully fit, but bearing in mind what happened with Klopp,it is suspicions. Mate also said that the injury gives him a great excuse to play the arse without appearing to do so. If this non contact stuff continues, he's ****ing us about. Reckons Saints will sell to Liverpool, but only at a premium, claims it'll be the most expensive trip to Blackpool in history. Said VvD's agent knows the price & Liverpool won't pay it. However they're relaxed because they think we'll except less. I asked if it was fact or opinion & he said "mixture of both". Didn't push him too much on which was which because he can be a funny ****er sometimes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. A vote on how we leave is a great idea, I'm all for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. That's a ****ing great plan, I hope you're right. I didn't think anything would be better than 23rd June, but seeing you snowflakes crying after a WTO Brexit would top that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Villa should be an example to us of what can go wrong. A foreign owner that got fed up trying to push on. As Everton are going to find this season, it's a massive massive step to actually get into the top four & you have to spend silly money year in year out. Leicester was a once in a generation story, a freak season. I'm happy with top 10 & decent cup runs season in season out, and personally believe we'll only get that with a sustainable club where the owner doesn't need to chuck massive sums around each year. I bet there's 85 ish football club supporters wishing they were run like Southampton Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. It will ONLY be because of the referendum result. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Correct in principle, but not in practise. They'll be a load of pony about style & goals scored, points below the team above & points above the relegated teams etc etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Rings true to me. Imo, he'll be in a Liverpool shirt 1/9/17 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Yet he's played for Spain. Stop parroting the pundits and think for yourself, set up correctly he'd do a decent job Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Exactly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Is Dr Who now a chick? Fair play. Isn't the Dr hundreds of years old, I hope she's on HRT otherwise she'll be unbearable Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. So you run down both parties "cake & eat it " approach, before then asking " what do they want". Isn't it ****ing obvious what they want? Whether we'll get it is another question, but to claim people don't know what we want is pure **** witterey. Make your mind up what you're attacking both parties for. Is it that they're asking for something that's impossible, or is it you don't know what they're asking for, it can't be both. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. The one where the British people gave May more seats & more votes than Corbyn, you know the one he "won". The same one where he proved he was electable, by not getting elected . That one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
