  2. My old man was a Building society manager in the early 70's. He came Home one day & had a conversation with my mum saying that he thought he'd ****ed up. He'd ok'd a builders mortgage for 17k and was having second thoughts. In those days it was entirely down to him, within certain criteria, and he was on the hook if the bloke defaulted. Of course fast forward 25 years & 17k didn't seem like a lot of money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. 4 shot in Cambrils tonight attempting another attack, great work by the Spainish police. If the religion of peace decided to turn violent, we're really ****ed. Although maybe I shouldn't jump to any conclusions, this one could be 4 Norwegians with mental health issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. This is what Abi Wilkinson a Guardian writer tweeted earlier "Britain has a problem with men raping girls" is a statement that better describes the situation, that's the thing. These people are ****ing lunatics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. What a ridiculous way to judge if someone "gets it". Their other posts, nothing to do with footballs gay problem "I think JWP is an average player".....you ****kng homophobe. "We should play 3-5-2 formation"..... Stop with your anti gay agenda. "Has anyone got a spare Palace ticket"......Ban the Nazi Please explain what the "it" is? This week a referee came out, that's pretty ****kng brave, but it would be if a ref had said he liked old Grannies or fat birds. I don't see why a club employee feels the need to announce to the world his sexual preferences. Not because I'm uncomfortable with them, but because it's boring and pointless. 6. Hope not, want to see them slug it out around Europe, playing Thurs-Sunday, for nothing. Nice defeat in the quarters or semis would be nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. How many points would we have dropped in the meantime. By the time he decides to do what he's paid for we could be out the League cup & dropped 4 or 5 points we'd have gained had he been playing. It makes me laugh that some supporters will abuse people doing their absolute best, Puel for one, but are quite happy to forgive someone who is taking the Mick and doesn't want to play. Not only that he compounded the issue by playing the victim with that pathetic statement trying to paint the club in a poor light. People are getting hot & bothered about Mick Quim or Jamie Redknapp disrespecting the club, or plenty of other pundits & writers. Yet the person who is showing more disrespect than them all added together is to be "welcomed back". **** off, not by me he's not. I'd rather see him sit in the stands but if he does deem us worthy of his great talent again, I'll ignore the **** even if he scores. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Please explain which of my views are "unenlightened". I treat gay people the same as straight ones, so maybe it's the view that men shouldn't need to "come out", maybe the view I've expressed, that I don't care one way or the other. I don't care what floats straight people's boats and I don't care what floats gay folks boats. If that's unenlightened than political correctness has gone mad. I sometimes drink in a pub run by gays, because the owner & his husband keep a damn good pint. They didn't tell me they were gay when I first walked in, it's never been discussed , just like I don't discuss the landlords sexual preferences in a straight bar. It's just a pub,and I act like I do in any other pub. We talk about football, bands, holidays. I don't feel the need to tell other customers I'm straight, and they don't feel the need to tell me whether they're gay or not.If a customer said "I'm gay" to me, I'd say "I'm not interested mate", just the same response I'd give if they said they were straight. Wouldn't that be better if everyone was like that? To try and portray me as some sort of homophobic dinosaur is insulting and false. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Makes you wonder why we've been ****kng about with him the past 2 years. Should have gone out on loan both seasons. Players at his age need first team games, whose to say that with 2 years and 60 championship games under his belt, he couldn't have played a decent part in our first team this season? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I like 3 at the back, because you can get 2 up top with no loss of midfield control. We could play a 3-4-1-2, provided the 10 was capable of getting back in and making it a 3-5-2 when they have the ball. That way we could play both Austin & Gabbi However, with the players we have, Id imagine if we play 3 at the back it'll be a 3-4-3 with only one of Austin or Gabbi (unless one plays in a wide role), with Redmond & Tadic wide. Still think we're bluffing & signing another CB will mean bye bye VvD, or at a push Yoshida. Just don't see Stephens & Yoshida as 3rd & 4th and the Polish guy as 5. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. So the reason there's gay pride is because people like me want gay people treated exactly the same way as straight people. Want nobody to give a flying **** whether someone is gay or not and wants the process of "coming out" obsolete. If everybody was like me, it wouldn't be considered "brave" to tell people you prefer meat & 2 veg to a chick, it would be considered boring. Feel free to continue to denigrate people like me, because it gives you an opportunity to signal your virtue. But I don't need to parade my pro gay credentials by marching or having pride, I just treat them the same as straight blokes Perhaps you should look in the mirror as your "retarded" statement will be offensive to some. 12. How on earth can you reach that conclusion from what was written. What he claimed & was 100% right about, is that people who make a big fuss about guys coming out, who say "isn't it wonderful" are marking gays out as different. If Shane Long did an interview admitting he fancied birds with big knockers nobody would bat an eyelid (except a few lefties & wimmin lib 9 pinters). If JWP came out the closet, the virtue signallers are actually the ones who will make it "different" than a heterosexual saying he likes chicks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Surprised Brighton aren't interested. He'd be perfect for them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. This, 100%. It's just them virtue signalling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Interesting you used the phrase "some" of these things. EU insists on "all" of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. If anybody is going to Kings X via Waterloo for the game , good luck. SW trains saying 75% of their service won't run that day, and their advise is don't travel . My local ticket office said that every train will stop at every station on the way. Meaning 3.5 hours from Poole. Waterloo has been a complete shambles the past 2 weeks, whilst they've closed 10 platforms & 14 are closed that weekend. Far far better to go via Reading into Paddington, but the trains must be packed. I've just booked 4 seats & they're all separate, couldn't get them anywhere near each other. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. That's always going to be the line though, whether it's true or not. They cannot allow the selling club to think we've got £70 million coming in shortly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. This is news because? I'm not really interested in this blokes sexual preference. Why all the fuss about gays "coming out". Chubby chasers or blokes that like older birds don't do it. Who cares? Is it some sort of attention seeking? We had a bloke at work who made a big fuss & announcement, but when everybody just shrugged their shoulders & carried on working normally,he got all upset. I don't go round telling my work colleagues about my sexual preferences and I don't want to hear about anyone else's, whether gay, straight or both Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Ever closer union? Free movement? A parliament? Flag? Anthem? Currency? Or just a free trade agreement? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Really makes you wonder how Australia, Canada & countless other nations get by without joining together in ever closer union. How on earth do they trade without freedom of movement. They must be really struggling without a multi national flag, anthem & parliament. How on earth do they manage? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Unless Les signs up as Saint Reed, Tom's the go to man at the moment Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I'm actually surprised nobody has tested this in a court. I'm pretty sure there could be a restraint of trade angle. I guess nobody wants to get bogged down with years of litigation like Bosman was, pretty much finishing his career. If I want to leave one employer, they're happy for me to go, & another employer wants me, surely there's a case. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Would be funny if we allowed him to move and not V ****. Wouldn't want him to go, but would love a statement along the lines of: "Southampton football club wish to place on record their thanks to Cedric for the professional way he's behaved during the transfer window. Because of this we have reluctantly agreed to this move" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. http://uk.businessinsider.com/brexit-trump-movie-is-coming-2017-8 Something to look forward to. What a great idea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. "The UK paper will say the government is optimistic that the EU will allow trade secretary Liam Fox to negotiate new trade deals during the transition." Cake & eat it territory. Fully supported by both sides of the Government. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
