  1. Great tactically from Puel Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. But Redmond's championship level , our forum experts told us Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. My issue with her and most of the remoaners is their pathetic attempts to try & claim that they "respect" the result, but just want to ensure its done right blah blah blah. Of course Nigel Farage et al , wouldn't change their position and wouldn't have given up fighting for a leave vote. But they would come straight out with it. They would want to change the British people's minds and force another vote. The remainiacs don't say " we want the British people to change their minds and will set about trying to do that". They wrap it up in pony about the process and the law. They don't respect the result . They're just trying to delay it in the hope that the economy tanks and the British people blame Brexit. I'd have some respect for this Miller bird if she told the truth and was straight . She doesn't respect the vote , she will do everything possible to reverse it and this court case isn't about clarifying the law, it's just a delaying tactic . Problem is, it's backfired a bit. A50 will be triggered, but now it'll have the legitimacy of parliamentary approval, with the added bonus of ****ing on Krankies fireworks. It would have been much better tactically had they left it and stirred up the grievance that May went ahead and triggered it without consulting parliament. They could have eat away at its legitimacy for 2 years, with Krankie banging on about a vote in the devolved legislature . Parliament voting for A50 gives May a little bit more cover when the going gets tough.Krankies defeat can also be thrown back in her face every time she pipes up that it's somehow unconstitutional .Salmonds performance on newsnight was laughable . Claimed that Scots were being treated differently . The dragons den mush pointed out that one Scotsman's vote was equal to one Englishman's vote , what's the difference? It was also pointed out that the UK parliament will have a vote for the MP representing every Englishman and every Scotsman. Salmond arguement would have had way more weight if a PM representing an English constituency had triggered A50 off her own back. Judges ruling that it's a reserved issue ,and unanimously at that, is a big blow to the Sweatys . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Pretty obvious that he's not going to play. Get through this one without him and it'll be one of our greatest achievements . Just can't see it happening , it was hard enough with him. Pretty impossible without, if you ask me. Liverpool maybe missing their two best players but their Sturridge and Orgi would walk into our side , they're pretty decent replacements. We're going to be using a kid that's hardly played a game. Personally I'd really think about putting Betrand in there with McQueen at LB, it's not as if they're going to be chucking balls into the mixer. They'll do us with movement and cleverness. You may get away with a naive nipper heading and tackling , but he's not going to have faced movement , quick feet and quick thinking like this before . Bertrand will be more attuned to it and he did well in a 3 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. It's pretty obvious when you think about it. Personally I always thought May would try & fanny it and would use this ruling to water down Brexit . Once she accepted we will be leaving the single market it can't really go any other way Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Within a few days she'll just put a very simple and short bill in front of parliament . It will be drafted in such a way that amendments will be pretty impossible to insert. This bill will basically give parliamentary approval to trigger A50. At the end of the process she will give parliament 2 choices, leave with her deal or leave with no deal. Anybody who thinks this particular court decision will make a blind but of difference is deluded. The major battle looming is whether once triggered A50 is reversible. All the remoaners have left to cling on to is A50 being reversible and then somehow public opinion changing. Pretty unlikely, but it's their only option left , a Hail Mary in overtime . If A50 is irreversible , and once triggered you leave after 2 years, it's game over for the remoaners. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The West Ham deal would have been pretty much sorted a week before it was announced . There is no way on earth we could have said " do you mind hanging on until after our semi final in case someone gets injured and we need Jose". Complete ****** to suggest otherwise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. A badly drafted referendum bill caused this issue. More incompetence from head remainer Cameron. I'd also question the House of Lords, isn't it their job to scrutinise legislation and pick up on poorly drafted bills? Good news for Nuttall in Stoke IMO . Despite it not making much of a difference to the triggering of A50 labour will be getting themselves in a mess & certain of their remaniacs will be given air time. Although it's dawning on the remainiacs that this won't make a blind bit of difference, especially as Krankie lost her only decent card today, they still won't accept the result. I fully expect a challenge on whether A50 is reversible. May intends to put her deal to parliament with a no vote meaning out on WTO rules, whereas they want staying in on the table. They'll be a court case on that IMO. A50 was drafted to be a 2 year period and you're out regardless of s deal or not. I'm sure the remoaners lawyers will be scanning the small print for a get out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. He's not slow , even at his age he's still pretty quick, quicker than Jose is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. What's the score with registering somebody not played in the comp , I presume if VvD's out there's no chance of a new centre half signing tomorrow & playing #clutching@straws Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. That's more like it . Yesterday is the standard he should be producing week in week out. If that becomes his minimum level rather than his best , I may have to eat humble pie . Let's see him do it against the big boys before going overboard but he's earnt a start weds IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I would consider Bertrand with McQueen coming in at LB. I don't know enough about Stephens to say if he's up to it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Played well , but they were woeful. JWP played well , better than normal . That's the bare minimum expected. He needs to play like that week in week out , and then top it off with some better performances , and we may have a player. One swallow and all that. Yoshida, OR & JRod did well . Tadic average. If VvD misses weds then it will be a real kick in the teeth. Great to kick on from 2-0 up, unlike last season under Ron when we blew it . So well done to Claude Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I'll agree with 90% of this, but beer being insignificant ? Nah, it's bloody important . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. So you're basically saying whoever leaves our club for another one, you'll boo them. It doesn't matter how long they've played for us, or what they've achieved for us, you'll boo them unless they play the rest of their career here. And all because they're paid the going rate for footballers in this day and age. If a modern day Terry Paine came along and played 800 odd games for us , you'll boo the rich millionaire **** if he signs for another club at the arse end of his career ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Me too. I remember when he signed and I'd watched him a few times ,I told my Skate mate that he'd play in the premiership. I genuinely thought he'd give us a couple of good seasons and then move on to a mid table premier league club (thinking we'd be stuck in the championship for a bit). We were pretty good for him, but in terms of the modern game to get so many ****ing brilliant years out of him was fantastic. However, I do hope he suffers one more kick in the teeth and regret about leaving. Penny for his thoughts as he watches VvD picking up the League cup 2 months after he's left us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Exactly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I went to 9 away games last season and have done 5 this season. The best two performances I've seen were West Ham & Boscombe under Puel. If you think passion and pride were evident all last season, you obviously weren't at Norwich, Watford or West Brom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I just want Reed to sign anyone. I don't care if they're not very good or we over pay for him , I just want a centre half onboard. If he turns out to be shiete & we're stuck with the useless lump it'll give me another opportunity to slag Reed off,he can also replace Redmond as my scapegoat , so it's win win for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. It's exactly what we were promised. The British Government are taking back control of immigration. If the British Government decide to relax immigration from certain countries, that's down to the British Government & Parliament to decide . They have control over the decision Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. It wasn't my agenda pal, it was Osborne Carney and other remaniacs that were obsessed with the "immediate" shock to the economy of a leave vote . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. No they didn't . Why do you need a long term assessment to see if someone saying " in the event of a leave vote there will be an immediate shock to the economy " is right or wrong . There is either an immediate shock or there isn't . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Remain were certain there was going to be a shock to the economy immediately following a vote to leave Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Which rather blows some peoples theory that the board can't wait to sell our best players Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Deserves one "Jose Fonte baby" when he warms up and applause at the end . Anyone who boos him is a ****ing idiot. I went to the Mayflower do a few years back when loads of ex players appeared on stage and were given a great reception and respect. In 20 years time I'm hoping our promotion wining side could come back or go to a similar event and ALL of them receive a great welcome . It's time to end this nonsense of hating them . Walcott , Bale & AOC don't get it, yet they bailed out without doing **** all for our club. The journey from league one was fantastic, unforgettable , and the guys who were there the whole time deserve some respect. Hopefully time will heal some of the nonsense .
