Living in a democracy means having a free Press and also having quaint customs like innocent until proven guilty. Why would you want us to become the type of country that names people in it's press as peado's and sex offenders without a shrewd of evidence. Perhaps you could name one of the wonderful democratic countries where peado' are named in the press on the basis of rumours. I bet their libel lawyers are wealthy. We have played the ball from the keeper rather than whack it up field pretty much since Nigel arrived. It was unfortunate for the kid that in this instance it led to a goal. We have a style of play where the keeper is encouraged to play from the back, so people cant really turn round and say he should have whacked it that time. In the end he'll end up whacking it up field every time ala Stoke. If we want to play from the back, it will lead to the occasional **** up.

The current disaster was brought about because they didn't investigate throughly and it was shody journalism. The Saville one was investigated correctly and broadcast by ITV and as far as we know by the intial Newsnight team. Questions are rightly asked as to why it wasn't followed up by Newsnight and whether the fact that the BBC had tribute programmes ready to go as part of their Xmas schedules, had anything to do with the decision. Trying to link not broadcasting the Saville one with the shody poor job done on the second one is ********. I'm sure ITV asked the question "are you sure your abuser was Jimmy Savillie" and even "do you know what Saville looked like". The BBC rushed ahead with what they thought was their perfect story. Top Thatcher era Tory and the chance to make up for ballsing up the Saville story. Just a shame for them that it was untrue.

It was right in front of where I sit and the first one WAS a dive and an embarressing one at that. It was a decent situation and by diving the move broke down. It also meant that maybe the Ref had second thoughts when he went down later in the box. I'm all for Ref's clamping down on diving by ignoring serial divers subsequent peno claims. I realise the BBC is a relegion to you leftie's but Entwistle has been shown up to be out of his depth whilst deeling with these issues, and the BBC jouno's, rather than being the best in the world have been shown up as amateurs. And you expect the "Murdoch press" to just sit back,let the BBC accuse an innocent man using taxpayers money and say nothing? If this was The Times or Sky News lefties everywhere would be calling for judge led enquiries.

Ah, the old minimum wage,sums up perfectly the con perpetrated on the poor saps who follow Labour. It was brought in for 2 reasons,makes labourites feel good about themselves and boxes the Tories into a hole. Completely and utterly useless of course,set way too low. All it does is ensure that the taxpayer subsidies your Tesco and maccy 's profits. Put it like this b &q pay someone just above minimum wage,we pick up the tab to ensure he can just about scrape by, whilst they bank millions in profit. Now of course Milli and balls up call for a "living wage" , why on earth can't that be a minimum wage is beyond me. They clearly set the minimum wage up as an unliving level. Interested in the living wage being different in London, for consistency I presume they back different welfare rates for different parts of the country?

Surely the only inspiration we need from Boscombe is to keep hold of the Manager that got us promotion. Had Boscombe done this and Howe hadn't gone to Burnley, they would be in a better position than they are now.

Not a day goes by without someone asking "what is the Government doing about XYZ". Look at the howls of outrage when rich people had their family benefit taken away, when rich old people, after years of booming house prices, endowments and final salary pensions were asked to pay slightly more tax. Turn on Question Time any week and there will be some comfortabley well off person ( do those living in povety appear in the QT audiance) moaning about their lot " I haven't had a pay rise for 2 years", "why should I pay an extra 2% for my pension", "why should I pay for my further education", before the final QT rallying call of "I didn't cause the recession, why should I be punished". Bet you there will be someone on there tonight with some "woe is me" tale to tell. It's always the same. Cant afford to run a car, what is the GovT doing about it, cant afford a house, what is the Govt doing about it, cant afford another child, to live in a £800,000 London house, to buy a pasty, to fund my pension pot, what is the Govt doing about it? We're not talking about people going without food, just people not prepared to make sacrifices and go without stuff. All people seem to want to do is load our children and grandchildren with more national debt to pay for our luxeries. You end up with the ridiculous situation that provided you bribe enough of the electorate at both ends of the scale, with tax cuts & handouts, you'll get elected. People are being bribed with their own money and somehow think it's a good deal.

I am not convinced we are witnessing the demise of the GOP. They fielded a weak candidate particularly in the present climate.6 months ago I'm sure they had written this one off. The Hispanic vote is always going to be a tricky one for them because of immigration. Having worked in South Florida for a number of years, immigration is the absolute number one issue for them. It really does depend on the candidates selected next time, run with Hillary Clinton and the race will be open. There was a bit of unique situation this time, 4 years is a long time, maybe a moderate Latino republican may emerge.

It's amazing how much better players become when they leave us and we are struggling. Can you imagine the up roar from supporters of Reading or Qpr if they "strengthen" their squads in January by signing Hammond,****ing Harding and Billy S. ffs people need to get a grip. Just because some of our players don't appear to be good enough does not make others we've let go better. It's funny how Yoshida is getting the blame for the first goal when clearly Morgan bottled it, didn't sprint out to close down the shot and ponced about like a big fairy turning his back. I guess he's exempt from criticism.

I am a massive fan of Nigel and what he's achieved at this club,that said the club means more to me than any one man. The most important thing is the club, and what the club needs now is a few wins and a spirit of togetherness from fans and staff. If there's someone out there available and willing to work at the club ,then lets get him in. We are not at the stage where Nigel has lost the fans and he doesn't appear to have lost the dressing room. There's no point in NC putting Wilkins or someone on charge whilst he looks for a replacement and no point in replacing him with somebody unless they're good enough to turn us round from day one. Personally I think we should give nigel till Liverpool,whist putting feelers out. If Nigel turns it round,great,if not, new guy gets a month until window. That's unless Rafa or someone like him will come in now
