In my younger days I would often walk around with an amount of cannabis or speed in my pocket. It was unlikely I'd ever be checked. If I had been black, there would have been a much higher chance I would have been convicted for drug possession. The fact that I wasn't doesn't mean that whites are less guilty of drug crime than blacks, it means whites are less likely to be caught. This follows through to more serious crimes too. Statistics can be very misleading.

Surely if you stop and search a higher amount of black people, you're going to find a higher proportion of guilty black people. I passed my driving test at the same time as a black mate, I stopped working at the same place as him around that time, but met up about a year later. He'd by then been pulled over by the police for "random checks" seven times, he was as straight as they come. Twenty years later I still haven't experienced this once. Surely this kind of activity is skewing crime statistics. If you look hard enough at any one group you'll find crime, if you don't look at another group, you won't find it.

No it isn't. That's a myth. It's how your body reacts to just the same levels of testosterone as everyone else has. Your scalp is basically just super-sensitive to a derivative of testosterone in your body called DHT. I remember playing Final Fantasy on PS1. I couldn't really understand why people were so keen. The graphics in the actual game were fairly basic, it was in the cut away bits of story that they were good. It was the cut away scenes that put me off. You had to sit there for bloody ages having the plot scroll up in front of you, pressing a button to make it continue once in a while. You could sit with that game for about 15 minutes without being able to do anything but listen to the awful music and watch a dull and muddled story explained very slowly. The gameplay side was just very average role play stuff when it finally started again. It was just a load of hype.

I've only read a few posts on here as I was wondering how a thread about Michael Foot had gone so far. I'll just point out that Norway would be classed by most as a socialist country. -It was probably the least affected by the economic crisis in the world, -a country with a surplus rather than a deficit -and is consistently ranked as the best place in the world to live. It doesn't really seem to match certain posters' ideas of socialism being an outright failure. there are pros and cons in all systems. Balance is important.

I agree with alpine_saint. For us ex-pats who don't get to see games, there really isn't anything great to look forward to about a fantastic season ahead starting on 0 points and completely destroying everyone in the league, after a season of gelling. As me and alps don't get to see games, we won't get to enjoy next season so the only thing left for us is criticising from afar. I think it is pretty unfair of all you Saints fans who actually see the games to treat the likes of me and alps like this. We are only getting what enjoyment we can out of the game of football. If that enjoyment is from petty whinging and moaning, let us have that. Let us have that, at least. You enjoy your informed opinions and non-obsessive enjoyment of the game; we need something to grasp hold of from afar. It's not our fault that we couldn't make friends anywhere so we had to move countries to find some. You lot are heartless sometimes. Think before you post. Please. Saints are ****.

I just buy a copy of Razzle and write the players' names on the centrefold spread when they are announced before the game. It is much better than the programme and gives me something to do at half time. I used to only ever be able to get off to Kamil Koslowski, and he never won MOTM enough for there to be a decent picture of him in his post-match finery in the programme the next week.
