If I was working for a company that was going out of business there is no way I'd defer my wages. I would insist on being paid properly as when the company went under I would know I'd get nothing. I'd also start looking for a job elsewhere. Also, like most people, I live to my means. I get paid more than many, but that doesn't mean I've got lots of money sitting around. I need the money I get every month to pay the bills that maintain the lifestyle I have. If I deferred my wages, I'd miss payments on my house and my family's standard of living would drop.

I know for a fact one of the bidding parties is a consortium from Finland with links to Eddie Irvine.

I'm not sure what you're talking about here. Firstly you should always put the other person first, but the point I was making was that the subject should always be I and the object, me. As in Whoever and I do something. It is to/from/with/for whoever and me. You shouldn't really use "me and whoever", although it's not the worst thing to do. My point was that you should never say "Dave and me went to the shops" just as you wouldn't say "Me went to the shops". It's "I went to the shops." Therefore it's "Dave and I went to the shops." However it's even more annoying when people say "This is from Dave and I". You wouldn't say "This is from I." You'd say "This is from me" So it's clearly "This is from Dave and me."

Don't get me started on the idiots who say "I, myself, think that....". What sense do they believe that makes?

People who don't know when to say "I" and when to say "me". I've got used, over the years, to people saying "Whoever and me went to the match", and this is pretty dumb as you wouldn't say "Me went to the match." However, it's even more annoying when people learn that that's wrong, but then use I instead of me all the time, "This is from whoever and I." etc. You wouldn't say "It's from I.", would you? They're ****ing thicky thickos who need to learn their own language properly.

Davis, JPS (31), Thomas (30), Gillett(23/24), Holmes (22) and Saga (31) aren't kids. That's more than half the team. Of the others McGoldrick would be 22 most of the season, James 21, Thomson 20, Mills 20 and Schneiderlin 20. That's no teenagers and a mix of older and younger players. They're not as young as you might think. On the other hand, they are all pretty crap. I was thinking it would be fun to create an XI of players we haven't ever really replaced. as in the last really decent player we had in each position. You really were an idiot and an irresponsible parent. It IS stealing and you DID show your kid that it was OK. It doesn't make a difference if it was a small piece of plastic and a steward thought it was OK. The steward doesn't own any part of the stadium and as an adult you should know that he or she isn't in a position to OK theft. The size or importance of it doesn't matter either. Theft is theft. You get the society you deserve, these sort of actions are leading the next generation downhill. You should show a bit of resposibility and just say to your kid that it doesn't belong to you so you can't take it no matter what other people are doing or saying. It should be ****ing obvious. I'm glad you returned it but you gave a mixed message about theft to your kid already.

RamblingBob was me. I also have another one who is now level 3 despite losing every single fight it's had. It's a heck of a record and I'm actually hoping it doesn't fluke a win. You do all realise thatyou have absolutely no input or control in this "game" other than choosing which opponent it's going to fight. Surely that should make it ****, yet I have now eagerly logged on 3 days in a row. I find every time there's a fight my brute should win easily, it decides not to use any of its weapons and ends up getting walloped. Does anyone else find the random non-weapon use strange/irritating?

St George's Day leaves me cold. What's the point of celebrating a saint's day anyway, nobody else apart from Ireland does? Norway's national day on the other hand is a great day with parades, flags and parties all over the place. The main difference for me is the way people handle their patriotism. Too many English people are unable to love England without hating other countries. They seem to need an unhealthy dose of hatred in their patriotism. Norway's national day, and probably that of many other countries, is organised with the kids in mind. It's essentially a day especially for children which makes it far more heartwarming than people spouting on about empires and once being the greatest country in the world but now it's being ruined by immigrants/new labour/Rupert Lowe blahblahblah or getting drunk on proper English beer.

That's got nothing to do with being PC, you ****wit. Politically Correct simply means treating people without discrimination. That's got nothing to do with hanging up your flag. It annoys me that something that should be obvious be obvious behaviour is treated like it's ruining our lives. This all comes from a few idiots being told to stop being racist, then reacting to every stupid piece of bureauocracy as if it's part of the same thing. Now people call health and safety issues "PC gone mad", or if some moron makes a stupid rule about celebrating religions, national days or patron saints, it's called "PC gone mad".
