  1. Could be a cracking match. Our best bet is to attack them. Whilst they are obviously quality on the ball their defending is mid table obscurity at best. Let's take it to them. No pressure on us so let's have a go.
  2. It's not complicated. We are mid table obscurity. Occasionally we might qualify for the Europa league. If we can't, then there's not much to get excited about in our league football.
  3. Without Romeu, I'd be tempted to play Frazer Richardson as a front sweeper.
  4. Agree. Best form of defence in this one is to dominate ball and force them into their sad little shell. If we let them have territory then eventually they will wear us down with crosses.
  5. Exactly. Basically, anyone who likes a dribble and is a bit foreign looking will always get called lazy.
  6. Is it just another day in Europe Batman?
  7. Two lesbians, sisters probably.
  8. I've been a member there for years and never outed. My name is Physhphucking****z.
  9. It's part of the inferiority complex. We don't mind them on here because, ultimately, we know we're better and probably always will be. It's the whole "bestest" thing - it's just a manifestation of deep-seated insecurity. They are the Jay from Inbetweeners of football.

    Caceres

The thing is, one of the reasons Bournemouth had chances in the second half of the second half was because we had not scored. Goals change matches. We were chasing the win so surrendered some shape in midfield. Had we been the 2 or so goals up, that we should have been, at half time we could have managed the game differently in the second half. So, I agree that the defence is a worry - partly due to no Virgil, partly due to Forster's erratic form and partly due to no decent tackling midfielder other than Romeu - if the forwards would do their job it would take some pressure off the defence. The match on Saturday encapsulated our entire season.
  11. "Lethal". Seriously? Get a grip.
  12. Really? I've been a few times and always been struck by it being a bit ****.
  13. Why do we need to get 40 points?
  14. Fair dinkum, mate.
  15. Yes, I can imagine it wouldn't exactly fly off the shelves! I'm surprised no one already mentioned it on here as a Stephens / Caceres partnership could be a little, er, interesting.
  16. That was in The Echo the other day. They said that Yoshida probably won't play.
  17. Man U fans were singing a song about Glazer to that tune when he took them over.
  18. Yeah, Marsden's goal is funny. It's not good.
  19. Do they seriously think they invented that song this season? ****ing muppets.
  20. Signing photo: Pen and Tella.
  21. Frankly, I suspect that's ********. You would probably be annoyed / concerned but I doubt you'd actually do anything, particularly if you were embedded in a community with a strong sense of hierarchy and tradition. As someone else said, above, it's the community leaders who really need to take the lead on these sorts of things. "Rank and file", for want of a better phrase, Muslims mostly just want to get on with their lives, same as everyone else.
  22. Why don't you answer the question that was put to you? Let's suppose you are correct, and this "spread of Islam" is a big problem. What would you do?
  23. The references to the quoted figure of the Liebherr wealth - as compared with her personal wealth - sound like a leak to me and basically a way of telling the public that, yes, she's loaded, but she isn't herself a multi-billionaire and can't / won't chuck in tens of millions constantly. That angle has never been reported before and I can't see a journo would suddenly dig into it now. I've never seen a creditable source for the reported value of Markus' alleged wealth. Clearly he was very wealthy and had millions in cash but the "several billion" reports all seemed to be based on the value of the Liebherr businesses, rather than his. So, basically, I think Kat feels she can't take us any further without being unduly exposed. Which is fair enough. Whatever happens, the Liebherrs have been nothing but brilliant for the club, the fans and the city.
  24. Yeah, I don't disagree with that at all.
