I disagree. We can still be a platform club for players but what we can't allow is players to sign a six year contract one summer then moan because they can't leave the next. We also can't back down having submitted a complaint about Liverpool. It would be a compete shambles.

We cannot sell him to Liverpool unless the price is astronomic (ie. £85mill +). It will make the club look utterly pathetic, having complained about them tapping him up. Yes, it would be too far fetched. There was no "Virgin Island holding co". There was a company in BVI called Vibrac, which lent money to a number of English clubs, including us. No one knows who owns it, so it could be Kat, but that would seem more than a little unlikely.
