Barnsley then Ipswich away in the space of 4 days is bound to have a toll on the players' recovery. Then you've got another match less than four days later.
As others have said, you simply can't stroll through every match. We know that and we have players with the mentality to deal with that situation when it arises and adapt their game. We kept calm and saw the game off and were able to bring on a player with the quality of De Ridder who I thought did an excellent job in relieving pressure towards the end. Yep, Milwall could've scored but in truth they didn't create much, despite having plenty of possession in the second half.
It was clear they had a game plan in the first half specifically tailored to the way we play but we still carved them open with a lovely passing move. Cork really does give us an extra dimension. Great signing.
