  1. Check out the "Rumours etc" thread on the main board guys. I've done some Golden Posting on there today. You will love it.
  2. Mods - I'm only doing a joke. Please don't pre-emptively ban me.
  3. Tub Girl is child's play compared to this sick, base, filthy, filth, filthing, filthy, filth.
  4. Yes. Up to us whether we tell him or not, but we know those wage-matching clauses exist in football.
  5. Yes, but any payments due like that will be priced into the deal when the selling club decides what they will or won't accept. Having already accepted £3.25m, Donny aren't now going to go, "tell you what Billy, we'll give you £500k of that if you leave".
  6. Perhaps his problem was that what we were offering him is more than he is on now but less than Lallana, KD, Fonte etc are on and he wanted a "top earner match" clause or something.
  7. No, that makes no sense at all. Clubs might pay a player to leave when they just want to get their wages off their books, but not when they are one of their best assets and moving on to a bigger club. If Donny said, "we will pay you £500k to leave", Saints would say "hang on, we're not paying £3.25m if you are willing to accept £2.75m". It's a complete nonsense. If they were desperate for the cash they would accept Ipswich's bid as well.
  8. Permanent bannings make Verbal less of a Saints supporter?
  9. You have no idea of the link I'm going to post later
  10. And I bunged DEC £5 for the Africans.
  11. I give generously to all through my excessive taxes.
  12. And Connolly, who is our best player.
  13. Yes, but they are special.
  14. Fact. You just have to slide the hair round.
  15. Eh? They accepted the bid - what more can they do at their end? They're not going to pay him to join us.
  16. If Connolly stays fit, we could win the World Cup. Not even joking.
  17. Who says we can't already challenge for promotion? We can. And you're assuming there won't be more "class additions". There will be.
  18. Cool, he looks like this, in a way:
  19. I get loads of marketing emails etc from the club.
  20. Looks like Biel dished out a bit of rough stuff. Bloody Swiss. Slightly concerning to see Lambo miss a sitter from the deck again but hopefully that is just preseason rustiness, not a continuation of last season's poor finishing from boot.
  21. I don't agree.
  22. You must've been talking to the same steward as me
  23. BWP was deployed as a winger sometimes. He was always picked, despite being pathetic. I think, in that team above, it would've been Surman on the left and Hammill on the right (although they might have swapped). Euell was nearly always used in CM.
  24. We didn't overtly set out to play that way. We had Bale at left back and Skacel at left wing. You might be thinking of people criticising Surman being at right wing; but only a handful of dinlos were doing that, I think. Most criticism of Burley was: i) for playing central midfielders in other positions; ii) for signing players in the wrong area of the squad, and iii) for picking BWP all the time, no matter how ****e he was (whilst apparently falling out with Rasiak, a much better striker). Oh and iv), for being an unprofessional ****head.
