Go read Turkish's excellent post again, especially the bit about having the worst pair of centre halves in the league after Van Dijk got injured and Fonte got sold and not replaced, having our two best sources of goals in Pelle and Mane sold and replaced with Austin, who spent half the season injured, and having our best defensive midfielder sold.
