I hope you're right, I really do. But I think BC is walking a tightrope here: borrow and spend enough to get into the playoffs (or better), but not spend a penny more than necessary. Holding back on playing players for a game or two to see how things pan out is one thing, but getting rid of the better players during the window would be throwing in the towel, which (if they are within a shout of going up) wouldn't make sense considering he's been funding Kitson, Lawrence et. al. so far. That strategy appears to be paying off so far. Cheating, lying bastards.

Don't bet on it. It looks as if the Cheats are sufficiently close to the top six for BC to continue with his gamble.

In essence, yes, although it's a bit more than life support with Kitson, Lawrence, et al.'s wages (an obvious gamble at promotion).

Indeed, that is the rather large fly in the Cheats-FC-getting-liquidated ointment. But if the worst comes to worst and the Cheats do sleaze their way up this season, we can probably count on it being just being a postponement of their inevitable demise, as BC will try to trouser all of the ill-gotten PL gains and then leave your lot high and dry.
