Who Is The Worst Company you Have Had The Misfortune To Have To Deal With
scotty replied to Gemmel's topic in The Lounge
Dysons are horrible machines, genuinely awful. The noisiest and least usable bastards on the market and among the most expensive, I'm sure they only sell to blokes, who buy them because they look like tonka toys. The emperor James Dyson has no clothes, there, I've said it. -
That could never happen on here.

......breaking news at the olympics.......rumours of drug use by 16 year old chinese swimmer Ye Shiwen following her gold medal in the 400 metres have proved unfounded........her semen sample came back negative......

He had a right spat with Norman Mailer, and was quoted as saying he hoped there is no afterlife in case he ran into him. Quality. Also a lifelong Democrat, some of his anti-GOP rants are a joy to behold.....

The Galaxy is very good. Never had a problem with either of mine, slim, really nice touchscreen, good battery life (and extendible with a larger battery and back cover if you need it, for about £10. That gives around 4-5 days of use.) Better than the iphone imho. (had one of those for about 2 months then changed it for a galaxy, wasnt the current iphone model tho.) Emails a doddle to set up, and the internet works very well.

The Exchange isn't bad. Worth a pint in there.

I just checked wikileaks, and I think you're onto something.

Ali Dia, oh God that was funny. How many minutes did he play as sub before being subbed? After Souness "noticed he was appalling"??

So you admit to tampering with a skate's condoms? Shame on you, I hope you washed your hands....

...oh, and while I'm at it, "can I get". That one really annoys me. You cant go into a pub or restaurant these days without hearing some irritating prat at the bar saying "can I get a double mocha latte and a diet pepsi", or saying to a waiter "can I get some extra mayo with my shrimp and crabmeat wholemeal baguette"... Why not ask "may I have", or "would you get me..."

My current bugbear is the phrase "its about...." / "its not about......" which every bloody politician seems to have adopted. You can't switch on the radio without hearing some poxy automaton spewing this out, "its about delivering quality in the education sector", "its not about raising taxes in the fuel station", etc etc. :x

Check when you get to work tomorrow, maybe theres been an offer over the weekend.

Cheap shot. The only eastern europeans I've met "flooding" into the UK have come here to work.

I thought it was very good indeed. The markers laid down about the NHS, and general British culture, hit the mark really well. We can all sit here and rip it to shreds, but I reckon Boyle played an absolute blinder there. Hats off to him.

Write to them once, make it clear that you are aware that it is an invoice rather than a fine or penalty, say you dispute their invoice and decline to pay it, and that you will not engage in further correspondence on the matter. Ignore any further correspondence from them. They can not, and will not, enforce this "fine", because the first time they try to do so and lose, it will be all over the papers and nobody will pay them. Its scare tactics, nothing more.

I think Nigel was on the BBC Saints site earlier, and a defender was the one position he identified as a further signing. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19011746

No he wasn't.

Personally, I'm quite relieved that part of the game has been more or less done away with. Chopper Harris or Dirty Leeds et al didnt do anything for the beautiful game imho. And yes, that Senegalese hatchet job on Bellamy deserved a straight red.

Its about time a few rovers headed in the other direction. How many did they plunder from us when they bought the prem title? Off the top of my head I can only remember a few bit-part players in unimportant positions, like keeper, centre forward and left back, (plus a strong rumour at the time that dalglish was prepared to pay more for Le God than they forked over for Shearer but he wasn't interested in leaving.) So thats three with Kenna and Flowers, were there any others?

Global warming really is happening... (well, duh!)

There are no votes in that type of thinking. All the public wants to hear is that "everythings alright, there is no climate crisis, and even if there was then it isn't man-made, and even if it was then its too late to do anything about it". That is the way forward.
