  1. No, I reckon alpines onto something there.
  2. Theres a point in itself. She might just be playing bullet-catcher for milibean for all we know, lets face it, he needs to pull something out of the hat if he's going to project anything resembling credibility. And I agree with M.O.G.'s comment on #12, those were my exact first thoughts on skimming this thread
  3. eh? Has he signed for us, or have we even expressed an interest in signing him (the management, not the forum?) Are you itk?? (confused smiley thingy)
  4. edited it for you turks
  5. I was going to start a thread about this, I have precisely no interest in twitter but every business website nowadays seems to have a "follow us on twitter/facebook" link, is it worth it business-wise? I could easily open an account and add it to my website.
  6. Wrong. Guly is a very good player indeed when played in position. I understand the tactic of getting him out on the wing, but when he plays in a central role he's something else altogether.
  7. I havent noticed anyone mocking Farage since he had his planecrash. Odd, that. And for my fourpence worth with chips, I did actually say when the euro was launched that it couldnt work in the long term because of the implications of exchange and interest rates being overridden in the interests of the currency before the country. Theres been a lot of stuff bleated about the ERM which isnt really directly relevant, but its the closest experience we have. And it wasnt a happy one.
  8. We may be straying off topic here, what about Ched Evans? chdajfu?
  9. illustrator extraordinaire of St Trinians and the immortal nigel molesworth. (as any fule kno.) A very funny artist, I saw an exhibition of his work at the cartoon museum displayed to celebrate his 90th birthday. His molesworth stuff is seared in my memory from my schooldays. Rest in peace.
  10. Yep, and even then they will just rename it "das euromark".
  11. This.
  12. Alta la Vista, baby;)
  13. The best of luck to you and yours, and I hope the birth goes smoothly. If the young'un does turn out to be a lifelong Saints fan I suggest you prepare him/her for the lifetime of twisted dreams and shattered hopes that awaits them
  14. Lmfao, excellent work that man. Genuinely funny
  15. wtf?
  16. I suspect you'll be sorely disappointed then. He's too slippery for that, he'll cut some kind of deal. Again.
  17. Jonny, is that the first time you've said that? It has that courtroom ring to it
  18. I was thinking the same thing. Dont the japanese and koreans hold each other in the same esteem as the spanish and portuguese? or us and the french?? or for that matter, saints and pompey??
  19. Dont believe everything you read. The only two of the incidents I imagine you're referring to that I have direct (ie immediate family, rather than a friend of a mate in the pub who heard blablablaa) accounts of both gave an entirely different view of the incidents as published in our irreproachable press.
  20. Anyone else remember the "osgood is a w*nker" chants hailing from every corner of the Dell on his first appearance for us there?
  21. Nobody that owes you money is very pleasant, in my experience.
  22. ....circular argument. How about someone moaning about someone moaning about someone moaning about someone on an internet forum [repeat to fade....]
  23. That said, do we really want any swiss players? After all, as soon as they get a hint of who's going to win they're likely to switch sides
  24. Thats true. Rickie ought to take a leaf out of rooneys book and plss away a few hundred grand on owens bookie firm. Its the only decent thing to do.
  25. You can safely ignore that. The punch up was started by a well known baddesley family of skates, i'll email you the details. And rickie wasnt involved or plssed up, his lot got him away from the scene as soon as it kicked off.
