I worked around that way for six years. There are one or two areas to avoid (dont approach moss side without body armour) but in general, a great place. And contrary to opinion on this thread, I always found most mancs to be friendly and approachable, far more so than down here.

I couldnt quite work out from the bbc article, did he have a heart attack near a fight and then injure his head falling down, or did he get in a fight with some other Wales fans and have a heart attack during it?
