Weddings have their own economic bubble. They exist outside of the normal economy, whatever it is doing. Stick the word 'Wedding' in front of something you'd buy for any other occasion and you have to stick another '0' on the end of the price tag: a decent, posh cake = £40; Wedding cake = £400, etc.

I think that this is shocking and you should take it as far as you possibly can. No wonder you are angry, I would be livid. Have you thought about writing to your local MP? Or even the papers? Yes, the papers would lap this up. Is your lad still upset? Try and get a photo of him upset while you can (or just get him to pretend to be upset if he is over it - which I doubt he is given the severity of it) as the papers love this kind of thing and are more likely to take up the story. You could also start a Facebook group as that is a great way to get the message out there. Post a link if you do this and we will all join up in support.

In the 11 minutes since I've posted this, my season ticket money has been refunded to me. I've called the ticket office over 30 times in the past two minutes and still haven't got an answer as to why this has happened.

Cortese gives out the squad numbers. In fact, he always refers to the players by their number because he doesn't like the familiarity of names. All of the staff at SMS all have numbers too, and he uses these to refer to them. The players that were released at the end of last season were ones that refused to accept the number that Cortese gave them, so they were dispensed with.

There is not a chance that this place is representative of Saints fans.
