Very good player offensively but he can't defend. Defensively he must be one of the worst RBs in the Eredivisie. The fact that he has played so few games for the Swedish national team is also quite falling in that respect.

I agreed this would have been a good move back in January and with our goalscoring record since December I keep wondering what could have been if Dost had been scoring those goals for us and not Wolfsburg...

There's no such thing as a red for handling outside the area. That can be yellow card offense in some cases. You only see red in cases where the handling stops a clear goalscoring opportunity. I think they overturned the card since Mané never had control of the ball which makes it impossible to be a clear goalscoring opportunity

Mokotjo has played for two teams this season already. FC Zwolle in the Dutch charity shield and Twente in the league and cup. I hope we aren't as stupid as Nice were with the Ben Arfa transfer.

I agree Eurosaint! The thing is you need to know both Dutch and English to understand half of the jokes so I can understand most of the people on here not appreciating their humor in it.

Pardew wasn't the manager for their draw against Villa setup he could get 9 points out of 9 with a win against Everton. But somehow winning against Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle should trump beating Burnley, Spurs and (potentially) Everton. The same could be said for Pulis if he gets two more wins against Everton and Spurs. He wasn't on the bench for their match on the 1st and won last week against Hull. It's not in the bag yet but both Pulis and Pardew need to win and do it convincingly to give themselves a chance in my opinion.

Perhaps recalling one of the CBs we already have under contract is preferable.

Similar playing style to Pelle and with a similar record in the Netherlands as well. Wouldn't mind him on loan with an option to buy. Even at Wolfsburg he has a decent record considering he has been a substitute most of his appearances.

Is he training with us straight away? I know he can only be registered with us the 3rd of January but that doesn't stop us from having him train with the team straight away. If so it would increase the possibility of him playing for us against Ipswich.

Welcome Eljero! He's had his problems but he has qualities that no-one else in this squad has. If he gets it together we have a top quality player on our hands. Some players take a while to mature, in many was he's had a similar path to Arnautovic at Stoke. If we get the Elia from Twente and Hamburg then I expect a permanent deal, if we get the Elia from Bremen and Juventus he's going back to Germany in the summer.

Would be dissapointed if Ramirez left, there's quite a bit of untapped. potential there and we don'thave that many offensive options. I thought he played well when he came on last weekend and offers an alternative to JWP behind Pelle or out wide. Its not like we have a lot of creative attacking midfielders/wingers. Even if Mnae came in I'd keep Ramirez.

Would be such an awesome signing. Great passer of the ball, good in the air and can play both RB and CB. Only minus is the occasional loss of concentration.

He more or less confirmed that himself in the interview he gave earlier this week. As for his performance uesterday I thought he was okay but not as good as he was against Liverpool and WBA. He worked hard and corrected mistakes but he also made a few mistakes and didn't combine as well with Tadic as in previous matches. All in all I'm very happy with the signing and I'm not missing Shaw at all.
