Yes we will spend money from the Sale of OXO either in the Championsip or League 1 Although he is a good player OXO is not winning enough games for us at the moment and perhaps he should have been sold in January and the club should have invested in two or thee players in order to get promotion.

I think by crap the poster may mean Nothing out of the Ordinary which is how I see the Players
-
Well in 1966 due to injuries a very young Mick Channon played against Bristol City and scored a goal to help us get promotion In forty years time perhaps you can bore this board with posts telling how some Academy player helped SFC to Promotion in 2011
-
Surely it is future form that is important not current form based on a few games Charlton on Current form a few weeks ago looked really good but now they are nowhere Bournemouth have slipped recently Still every chance of Automatic Promotion
-
It has nothing to do with the quality of the squads in my opinion it is what happens on the day just because you may think we have the best squad it does not mean we will win the play offs if we are in them. I think in 1976 Man U thought they had a better squad than us but we won the FA Cup. It is how the team how the team handles pressure and fan expectation and events during the games. But I still think there is every chance of us getting promoted automatically but if we dont then the teams that do will deserve it
-
You dont seem to realise what happens in a football season as it is all about ifs and buts. Other teams in the top six will have similar comments about games where they did not achieve the results they were expecting. Why dont you stop being so hysterical and wait to the end of the season if we are good enough we will go up if we are not we wont nothing any of us can do apart from going to games and supporting the teams. Yesterday SFC were 1/5 to get promoted by the bookies we did not lose last night so promotion is still very likely but of course not guaranteed Our results have been very good latel so please look on the brightside

does not mean a thing Just depends how we play in the play offs

One of those "Who would you keep next season?" Threads

Me too but dont we have to pay Brentford money whn he plays so many games -
Or perhaps he went home to see his family
-
I tend to agree with you apart from Chaplow we dont seem to have enhanced our team that much in the last year. Butterfield/Richardson at RB is really the only other one
-
I thought the article was pretty reasonable aimed at Bournemouth Fans it is just banter for god's sake Just shows what an intolerant bunch of fans we have if there is trouble
-
I think we are now as not much has been spent recently
-
You dont seem very enthuisiastic not a good game then?
-
Yes Probably right it is in US Dollars not Sterling
-
Oh of little faith

So what happens if we dont get a win surely people are going to be upset. The so called negative posters are not negative because most likely they believed the hype that SFC were going to walk this league and are disappointed when things go wrong. I still think we will go up but with all the investment and PR from the club I feel we will have have been let down by the club if this does not happen
-
It was moved because Wales England is on the same day at 3.
-
Yes I agree with you and I think we will just get second place but a loss on Saturday will not be good. I think the negativity is probably due to impatience and the fact that we have not done well recently as a few weeks ago we were in second place

Question for the Negative-Thinkers after the Colchester result
John B replied to dune's topic in The Saints
Because when we lose people are not happy which is quite obvious I would have thought I watched loads of games the two previous times we got promoted but then we were hoping for promotion not demanding it so when we lost it was not such a big deal. I expect the season will bring a few twists and turns but we are in a very good position to go up -
We just need to win how we do it does not matter 1 0 every game is OK by me
-
I dont think many of the players are playing consistently very well all the time Gully OXO Harding Davis and Chaplow being prime examples
-
I think I am neither positive or negative as I think I am pragmatic I will not be upset if we fail to get promoted but will of course be happy if we do so. We still have a chance of automatic promotion which of course is less likely after the midweek defeat Although we have not been playing that well recently improvement to form maybe just around the corner but the problem I feel we have is that no one player is consistently very good at the moment. But the other teams involved in the Promotion race apart from Brighton are not doing that well I think that B'Mouth have got 12 points in the last six games us Huddersfield and Peterborough have 11 I maybe wrong but if that is the case finishing second is not out of the question If we get injuries and suspensions it will be difficult to get promoted automaticall but that is football At the moment I cannot see us not being in the top six by the end of the season whether that is positive or realistic I dont know The bookies have us 1/12 to be in the top six

Question for the Positive-Thinkers after the Walsall result
John B replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
As we have beaten them twice already this season and if we dont lose to them this month surely we have proved we are better than them But the season is 46 games long and the top two teams always get promoted so I dont really understand your point. Are you suggesting that Man U as well should win the Premier League because they were unbeaten for such a long time. -
Do you think Cortese has the ability to chose the right manager not sure either Pardew or Adkins was the right one somebody like Southgate I think would be pretty good Portsmouth and Bournemouth seem to have a better record of picking the right manager but not SFC in recent years
