And here

I agree but what if he has a get out clause in his contract
-
I think the point that NI was making was that Adkins at S****horpe Adkins deals with young players while at Southampton Pardew has brought in more experienced players such as Fonte Richardson Puncheon Lambert Jaidi Barnard etc and Adkins may possibly have trouble motivating them. With regard to young players in general we dont seem to have been very successful in bringing young players through in the last couple of seasons from the Academy
-
You dont appear to be the cleverest cookie in the class do you If we dont get out of League 1 this season we will probably will lose most of the squad. Les Reed is not going to guarantee us success in the Premier League I doubt whether the country's best young footballers want to come to a League 1 side
-
Lets get out of League 1 before we introduce fancy new systems surely money should be spent on the First Team Not on Les Reed etc time for that later

Brown now favorite http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/8374583.Brown_new_Saints_favourite/?ref=rss

I think pardew should have gone this time last season but I am not so sure he should have gone now

I think last season with Pardew in charge was one of the best seasons in the last twenty years

Gracie Fields

Exactly - in football you often need a little luck not having Barnard did not help either
-
Dont disagree with you but is it likely that a manager can get a team out of League 1 three times in a row. Just speaking statistically
-
No young strikers like Paterson available I suppose
-
Any idea why Hart was there on Tuesday?

Not according to SKY and most independent observers http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,25212,15231_6354322,00.html

I think Alpine is right when he suggests in the Poll thread there is a change in mood on the forum as the No vote is now down to about 55% it was higher earlier but this probably not surprising with spin coming from St Mary‘s. Although I voted No in the poll I have absolutely no problem with Pardew etc going as I have always thought that we would need a different Coaching team to get us to the Premier League but I suppose if Pardew had got us promoted this season it would have been difficult to get rid of him The timing of the sacking is all wrong in my opinion and unless there is a really good non footballing reason for his sacking I still think it should not have taken place at the end of August but I would probably have supported it at the end of July as our Pre Season seemed to be particularly awful but injuries did not help I suppose if Pardew had got us promoted this season it would have been difficult to get rid of him and his team next when the new Academy setup would be in full swing and players from there would be moving into the first team squad. That said I still think NC made a big mistake in appointing Pardew in the first place as he seems to have been a pain in the neck wherever he has been. Then completely reorganising the club as I cannot see Pardew wanting to work in a team environment and being open to the ideas of others. I have always failed to understand why lots of fans think Pardew is a great manager with all the finance behind him I think he did not perform exceptionally well last season. I do agree with the structure NC is developing as it is similar to the Dutch experiment but with money and I fully expect the club to go forward in the next few months . With regard to the major bust up rumours they maybe true as but I feel if they were as dramatic as some suggest perhaps the press would have been on to them . I am certain Paul Hart was there on Tuesday but why I have no idea
-
And the other two as well?
-
Or perhaps retaliating because of the spin coming out of St Mary's
-
There is in no way I am Pro Cortese I didn't particularly rate Pardew and I'm sure there's better out there. and I agree with all your comments regarding Transfer Committees - Any idea what other clubs have them
-
I think NC/ML made a bad mistake appointing Pardew in the first place before the Club structure was in place it was done in such a rush I still think he should have stuck with Wotte for a few months explaining to him what the future held and then they could appoint a Top Class First team coach to take the team forward after the structure of the club had been agreed. The club is nothing like it was before Pardew arrive and possibly he resented it.
-
Depends how the other teams play I would have thought
-
Apparently Paul Hart is at St Mary's he has been seen there
-
Why not say what you think if things are wrong I just think things are not quite right behind the scenes Also prices for tickets are too high we need to get the kids in cheaply otherwise they will become Chelsea Man Utd Arsenal Fans
-
Plus O'Neill Curbishley Howe
-
Yes I agree but I thought he could have got us out of this Division.
