  1. I think she may have a point:D
  2. I think most people including the posters on here have done stupid things but does not make them stupid. It only makes them stupid if the continually do them I would have thought.
  3. Best Australian Batsman since Bradman? Pleased that Lee was injured for the ashes too
  4. Do you really think it was JP or Wotte that caused us to be relegated I doubt if any manager would have succeeded but then the grass is always greener on the other side as they say.
  5. Possibly a lot of our problems in the past were caused by a financial pressures. Now we dont them the team in theory should be doing better but at the moment it is not. Will probably change for the better in the next couple of months although I thought it had when we were 2 1 on Tuesday and only seven points away from safety thinking on Saturday only four points from safety. It really is so frustrating
  6. I agree I live in Berkshire and quite by chance met a fellow Saints supporter in the Local Homebase starting chatting to him about things that were being said on the Forum which he knew bugger all about
  7. Yes I think he is running it as a business I dont think in anyway he is a fly by night type of person but will eventually make some kind of profit. Which I have no problem with because if he does that will mean that the club is successful
  8. I have not bought into the five year plan because I dont think you can plan to get to the Premiership definitely in five years because of so many factors outside our control However I have bought into the idea that with careful management we can challenge to get into the Premiership within five years and will eventually reach it possibly in five maybe more maybe less.
  9. A very interesting post which highlights the problems at the moment Is 50 the usual amount of points to be safe?
  10. To be fair to him he was expecting Stern John to stay and had no idea what was going to happen to the Poles
  11. Not a very cunning plan then:rolleyes: Yes I agree they are the only possible milestones at the moment So if we fail to get promotion next season by losing on penalties in the final do we start another four year plan.
  12. Yes if we won the toss we always defended the Milton Road end I thought in the first half
  13. Getting to the Premiership in the foreseble future is quite achievable with investment and good management and I fully expect to happen. Actually what is in this 5 year plan are there any milestones or events on the way? And how will it be known if we are on the way to success with this plan at the end of the season and how often is the plan being monitored
  14. Yes http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/counties/worcestershire/8285846.stm
  15. Sorry I meant jobs being lost up to Administration .
  16. Well that is OK then if nobody lost any money or lost their job but highly unlikely I would have thought
  17. From the BBC Article Cortese's plan is for the club to win promotion from League One in two seasons and reach the Premier League in five years. He does not expect Liebherr to enjoy a return on his investment until the club returns to the top flight but reckons Saints can break even in the Championship. I thought it maybe a hobby until I read the article so what do you think?
  18. No not a teacher just fed up with your spat with Pig Swill
  19. Not very PC I would have thought;) and a bit confrontational perhaps
  20. Not at our club I agree as I posted somewhere else Except when Gray went
  21. I am not suggesting Pardew should be sacked I an just saying that often sacking a manager works. If we had only won 1 game after 10 next season I think there would be a strong case for his removal it depends on the situation and who would be appointed instead.
  22. I think it may be difficult to make a judgement on the Education system from Central Europe from here in Berkshire it seems to be going quite well from involvement I have on a day to day basis. Whats this thread about?
  23. May not really be hopeless But not successful because of the financial constraints. Gray was my most hopeless manager though
  24. Very true a modern stadium large fanbase good training facilities a bargain. I never really felt in the Wilde / Crouch era that somebody was going to come and invest millions to buy the shares service the debts and buy better players. From my point of view at the moment administration was good but not for the shareholders , people who lost their jobs and suppliers who were not paid plus of course MLT TL and Mr Crouch again. It was also good for Begbies Traynor
  25. I think there is a general agreement that having these new owners things can only get better an eventually we will return to the Premiership hopefully sooner rather than later. Pardew may or maybe the right person but he should be given to the Spring at least before his long term future is discussed except if we get regularly beaten by teams at the bottom of the league However posters will still moan about poor results when they happen but the more patient perhaps should not start arguing that things will get better when people are upset about a particular result as that only makes the situation worse.
