  1. Next season will be my 48th season following the Saints but it is getting harder every year the first 28 were pretty good the next 20 not that good except for 2003 and the last five dire. So Roll on next season!!!!
  2. In 1974 I went to Goodison when we went down and we won easily which made it not such a bad trip. But today as on other Saturdays a good performance has been followed by a poor one. You would have thought with our team we could have won at least another three games this season
  3. He also said at 2.45 he had been in the dressing room expecting it to be a scene of positivity but it was far from that everybody was sitting around glumly although one person was eating a banana
  4. Stuart Hall on Radio 5 Live said he felt sorry for the fans as the Saints were awful
  5. I totally agree you would have thought with all the managers we have had plus coaches someone could have motivated them if they were any good.
  6. I listened to the Brentford Chairman on BBC today he said they could only accept 1200 away supporters may be a general problem at the smaller grounds
  7. Plus Brentford Wycombe Probably with Charlton as well
  8. Pretty good footballer though saw him saw some great goals at White Hart Lane in the Sixties
  9. Dont be a pratt just be realistic and stop making moronic comments. It is not completely Lowe's fault anybody with any sense I would have thought could see that. He was not at the club when most of the financial damage was done
  10. Well of course he played a part but so did countless others I am afraid
  11. I think Fryatt scoring thirty goals had something to do with it
  12. Need an owner First though
  13. So you had no problem with Pearson leaving as he was Crouch's man. A lot of what you say is conjecture I would have thought but he seems to be doing a reasonable job to me. With regard to his comments on Fans I would have that a fairly large number of other fans would be in agreement with him
  14. I agree I have been supporting Saints for nearly fifty years and it is only recently I have heard he is allegedly a Saints Fan
  15. I just think Wotte has done a reasonable job since he has taken over as probably as good as Pearson so why should he not stay.
  16. Or read it here http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4301083.Mystery_surrounding_new_Southampton_Football_Company_Ltd/ Seems quite good to me
  17. Yes I think a lot of rumours are treated more seriously than they actually are.
  18. I hope you are right and yes I forgot about the Stadium.
  19. Obviously nobody is going to commit I would have thought until it is known what division we are playing in next season. If we are in Div 1 as seems likely many potential investors possible may not bid because next season we may still be losing money because we may still have to pay large wages to Rasiak Euell Saga etc.
  20. And not likely to for sometime. I am continually thinking things are getting better on the pitch only to receieve a kick in the teeth when we fail to perform like against Charlton. So although I am hoping for a good result today on past performances I may well be let down again.
  21. I am glad you posted that as I too could see no mention of Leicester and was wondering what the hell the original post was about
  22. Yes I agree but it begs the question why was he not given the job in the first place. Perhaps with Saga Euell Sageis playing regularly and James and McGoldrick playing better the squad is in a better shape than when JP was here. But the tactics are probably better
  23. The club maybe cheaper but the debts are higher but yes overall slightly lower. But with Div 1 likely not such a good investment I would have thought
  24. George Burley took Ipswich to the Premiership It does not mean managers who have had a team promoted will always do so Wotte seems OK to me why change?
