  1. OK you maybe right I dont know You are posting with hindsight I agree I dont know why Pulis and Gasmi were signed.
  2. So what would you do to reduce costs then? It is not easy something had to be done unfortunately to reduce costs and Saga played well in Euro 2008 so he was loaned I think Saganowski is our best player overall but we signed John and Euell last season so he did not play much. Surely Rasiak and Saga were OK as strikers for last year with BWP in reserve. If Euell and John were not signed and Crouch did not want Euell anyway we may have saved at least £2m in wages over two seasons maybe more so the cost cutting this year would not have been so great , Results may have been better and attendances up. But the last board thought that if they bought in players success would be guarnteed and a takeover would take place.
  3. Attendance 17623
  4. Who is Pulis? Has he played before

Yes Mr Git you are probably correct but as the Club is in Financial meltdown it is very easy to discount things that have happened in the past

I am not saying the bloke is competant or trustworthy but does have the interests of the club at heart. Why would he invest money in ousting Lowe His priority was to get in some investment (which did not happen) because that is the only way the club will prosper in the future.

I think he does have the best interests of the club at heart He ousted Lowe He tried to get us promoted and we got to Play Offs. He saw the club under Crouch sliding into administration so he got back Lowe to carry out the unpopular task of cost cutting. Knowing how unpopular was it was a courageous decision to bring Lowe back but obviously he thought the club was in a very bad state
  9. Surely being confident and being constantly told you are crap does not help either. Go and ask Kelvin
  10. But do we need to sell in order to get in other players or payoff the overdraft?
  11. How things have changed three years ago Wilde was the messiah
  12. For £1.6 Million I would have thought he was going to be a far better player than he turned out. We cant have bought many defenders/midfield players for that amount when we were in the Premiership
  13. I know but it is not bad news which it may have been if Perry was made Club Captain
  14. Does that mean he is not going to be sold in the next few days If that is so that is really good news
  15. I just dont think people perform well if they are concerned with the future thats all.
  16. Wages of £500000 must be have been something to do with the reason he was not required
  17. They could be in the Premiership as they are playing really well at the moment. and their football is said to be of the highest quality.
  18. I hope you are right . I wonder what the younger players think of it all. McGoldrick James Gillett Holmes Smith Patterson Molyneux etc would not be playing at this level if youth had not been given the chance. They maybe concerned what the future may hold if Lowe was to go
  19. Yes I know that but outside factors surely affect the team. Last season if I remember results started to suffer after the board said the financial situation was dire. I know our results have been awful this season but with a new manager a couple of new players maybe the situation can improve. But it could be undermined with all the goings on off the field.
  20. That is what I think but why should anybody buy Lallana or Surman if they were that good surely they would have helped us to more points. I know they have potential but it is results which count
  21. What affect is the protest going to have on the players I wonder Is the Atmosphere going to assist the team in attempting to beat Swansea
  22. It does say arrivals too
  23. He was OK but surely not worth £1.6 m
  24. I agree with you but he did try to rid the Club of Lowe
  25. Southampton striker Marek Saganowski says he is fully committed to the club, after making an impact since returning to the Championship strugglers. The Pole recently spent a loan spell with Danish side Aalborg as part of cost-cutting measures at St Mary's. He told BBC Radio Solent: "When I was sent to Denmark I wasn't happy because I felt good at Saints. "I've got a year and a half left on my contract here and I want to play for this club." Saganowski netted the equaliser in Saints' 2-2 draw at Norwich on Tuesday - his second goal in three matches since returning from Denmark. "It was a big disappointment to be left on the bench, because I thought I did well in the previous game. The goal was my answer to the staff for leaving me out," he said.
