  1. Yes I was very surprised he came back. However something drasticl had to be done and Rupert was given the poisoned chalice. I would have thought somebody like Crouch would not have been able to take all the flack from the fans when unpopular decisions were taken
  2. Sorry what is your point?
  3. Facts or assumptions or interpretations ?
  4. It is not a true pure win as if we got a winnable 3rd tie we could of possibly earned more money in the long run. It would have been better to have had this tie in round 4 or 5 I would have thought
  5. Sorry no If we had drawn Histon and won we would probably have gained more money.
  6. Not neccessarily as money would be invested in buying new players. Anyway the shareholders not Lowe get the money in dividends which I believe have not been plentifull But I suppose Lowe is on a bonus related contract and like JP will be rewarded by success. Even New Labour are apparently OK with rewarding success in the City
  7. Yes obviously you are right what you are saying. But drawing Man Utd who we are unlikely to beat does not mean that the amount of Revenue we get from this seasons FA Cup will be more than if we drew another team that we eventually beat. Some reveue would have been expected from the FA Cup anyway as the other poster said.
  8. I dont know what you mean by working To be successful other clubs have to be unsuccessful I dont think because we are a PLC we are unsuccessful we just have had a rubbish team without many outstanding players like MLT Niemmi Killer who have played for us for any length of time.
  9. Yes very true and if we had played Coventry and won we would have got an extra £50K or so for winning and more revenue in round 4
  10. Both Nottm Forest and us are not successful at the moment if we were PLCs might be thought to be a good thing.
  11. Including this rude post?
  12. Yes you are right but at the moment it seems he only comes on for ten minutes which is not enough
  13. Yes I think that maybe the case but I would really like to know what our current financial situation really is
  14. It will be intersting to see whether under Keane at Sunderland despite spending lots of dosh they are relegated. Three teams do get relegated every season and unfortunately it was our turn in 2005 like it was in 1974
  15. Do we actually know what the average attendance figures the club was hoping for?
  16. According to the echo Lowe: United cash windfall won't solve financial problems http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/3941179.Lowe__United_cash_windfall_won_t_solve_financial_problems/#show Realistic not negative really Seems what ever we get from the Man U game is a drop in the ocean to what we have overspent in the last couple of years. Probably means we still need lots of money from transfer sales
  17. Depends how many tickets go to Man U I would have thought
  18. Why if they are on loan and cannot play for us
  19. Yes I think money is ruining the game . I did not realise there was a boycott of games when we got relegated in 1974 but I was living in London then
  20. Yes very true I think the team is getting better but that does not mean we are going to win lots more games. But there appears to be a lot of support behind Jan and the team
  21. Really
  22. If you stopped posting it would help I would have thought
  23. God you really are an odd poster
  24. Well whats our best team Alpine thats the question? Rasiak John Saga are currently unavailable
  25. A really good Cup Draw so why all the agro? Anything can happen in the Cup we won in 1976 against the odds Histon won today If we win Jan what a story to tell I was there when we beat the Champions of Europe
