Unless the State Controlled media both at home and abroad are providing us with even more duff information, the majority of health professionals are being vaccinated against Covid, as well as other diseases. If the vaccinations wipe them out who is going to look after the unvaccinated when they get poorly from a variety of non Covid illnesses/accidents?

How are Palace doing with ins and outs?
-
I may be wrong but I think Ralph (and Managers generally) supply a wish list to those in charge of the finances and they, with the help of recruitment, find affordable players to meet Mangers requirements.
-
You were obviously not around when we signed Ivan Golac!!

Why are the Cubans, Russians, Chinese etc all in cahoots with Bill Gates (supposedly) et al and a range of Western Governments in producing vaccines when it is impossible for them to consistently agree on a wide range of other issues?

Perhaps we ought to give Rupes and his mate Andrew credit for getting a decent stadium built for £32m. Seems that the builder, Barrs of Ayr, never recovered from their involvement in building football stadia. It would be interesting to find out how much it would cost to build a similar size stadium nowadays particularly with the cost of building materials going through the roof at the moment. Wonder how much extra Everton will have to pay above their estimates for theri new stadium?

I reckon Collins Dic is 'Jelly Baby' on the Ugly Inside Forum. Either a proper 'Dic' or a windup merchant. Suggest either 'person' is ignored. It doesnt deserve the attention just a bit of sympathy!!!

I wonder who is responsible for scouting on Humberside? Harry Maguire/Andy Robertson/Jarrod Bowen have all been snapped up by Premiership clubs and have increased significantly in value and then, of course, there is Shane Long. No disrespect to Shane who is a trier and appears to be well regarded within the club. However I recollect that when we signed him a good mate of mine, who is a keen Tigers fan, couldnt believe the transfer fee we stumped up to get Shane down here after a short spell with Hull who paid £7.65m for him from WBA. Six months later he was at SMS for a reported £13.41m.!!! That and negotiating an extended 2 year deal fro someone past 30 must mean that he has an extremely good agent full of the blarney charm!!

I reckon this mysterious cabal could well be the Bilderberg Group who meet up every few years to plot how the earth will be governed (and probably send off coded minutes of the meeting to their masters in space) No record is kept for earthly records as all discussions are dealt with under Chatham House rules. The interesting thing is this meeting, held since 1954, only includes representatives from 20 -30 countries and excludes China, Russia, N Korea etc etc. So any 'Grand Plan' to introduce a nasty virus across the world has been engineered and executed in every country, without exception. What an absolutely fantastic achievement and we should all go to our graves or funeral pyres glowing in admiration at the wonderful and exceptional prowess of Billy Bob Gates and his mates who will be left to rule the remaining unvaccinated members of society!!

Collins, Would be interested if you could advise which news outlet is your choice to obtain non - hype information on the virus (or non virus)?

Everton's new stadium looks really good. Apparently the UNESCO committee made the decision without visiting Liverpool!!

I do My friend, I can assure you I am not at all afraid of being vaccinated against Covid and there seems only to be a few, guided by their religious principles or distrust of society, often stoked by the likes of QAnon, and other likeminded organisations, who share your view. I look at the fact that vaccination was started in very rudimentary fashion around 1000AD at a time when Chinese, Turks and Arab nations had more advance medical knowledge than the western world. Since then life spans have been extended by medical science finding ways of protecting people, by vaccination, from killer diseases such as: Smallpox Polio Yellow fever Rubella Typhoid Hepatitis Chicken Pox Measles Mumps HIV etc etc Of course you are quite within your rights to have an alternate view of the world but it would be interesting what sources you rely on, apart from one physician in the US, to obtain your information. I would like your assistance to research too in an attempt to obtain a different view to that offered up by the main news feeds. Please dont suggest Alex Jones or David Icke as I have researched them.

So according to the gentleman on the right, Bill Gates is solely responsible for arranging the production of vaccines to kill millions. If correct I have to tip my hat to Billy Boy as he has been able to hoodwink all bar a few experts in the medical profession and work in concert with Governments around the world, who have produced their own vaccines, whilst arranging to set up 5G networks to fry our brains. Once Bill and his mates have finished implementing the 'Grand Plan' presumably they will then be able to live in splendid isolation as those of us 'workers', who will undoubtedly expire from the vaccines or radiation from 5G, wont be around to keep the world's economy going. Meantime, assuming to some 'enlightened' people , these group of billionaire and governmental ne'er do wells are sending signals into space by means of rocket launches and crop circles to allow their alien masters to arrive and take over their rightful place as governors of the earth. i did have this theory explained to me once by a young chappie on a train and he gained great credibility when honest enough to say this all became clear to him after a visit to a music festival where the 'gear' was spectacular. Fortunately the chap was thrown off the train at the next stop for 'forgetting' his train ticket!! It reminded me of the experience of Gail Brabrook, one of the founders of Extinction Rebellion, who admitted her view on life was profoundly affected by taking copious amounts of powdery substances whilst visiting South America a few years ago.

Has anyone received an undated letter from the club offering the chance to win 2 free tickets in club organised draw? I received one last week and was about to apply then saw that the Prize Draw ran from 28th May until 11th July!! Not many of my friends have renewed this year but a couple who have reckon they havent received a similar letter. A bit odd in so far as I have renewed.

My disappointment with last nights result was alleviated somewhat by the sight of Kate Moss (the favoured 'friend' of that nice Sir Phillip Green and I feel sure is a regular England supporter at home and abroad) sat up in the posh seats and a rather well upholstered member of the EUFA team involved in the post match presentation body, who was wearing an even worse fitting suit than our dear Prime Minister. Heartwarming moments to treasure.

As a bit of a diversion we were discussing the 'characters' we have known in Saints colours from days gone by and this was my selection of those who most teams would not be too happy to be playing against and, if available to play in today's game would probably all be carded in the first game 1. (mad) Budgie Burridge 2. Ulrich Van Gobbel 3. Dennis Hollywood (Mark Dennis) 4. Jimmy Gabriel (Brian O'Neill) 5. John McGrath 6, Docker Walker (Neil Ruddock) 7. Terry Paine 8. George O'Brien 9. George Kirby (The Guvnor!!!) 10. Osvaldo 11. Benali Any thoughts?

Vectis, Thanks for correcting me. I always rated Gabby but, as a youngster, thought he looked older than he was especially at a time when the only players we seemed to sign from bigger clubs were coming to the tail end of their careers.!!

Does the club still own Badgers(?) Farm?
-
My apologies if this link has been included before but interesting to see the number of England's Euro squad with links with the Saints ie Gareth Southgate Luke Shaw Tyrone Mings Ben White
-
Sad news indeed. I remember him playing for Everton before joining us at the end of his career. Still an excellent player when he joined Saints who could play midfield or centre half. Those were the days when Scotland produced many very decent players. Had the pleasure of playing in the same team as him in a charity game in the 90's

Just found an old season ticket from 1977. Cost me £37!! Also that was the year that a pint of Lager at the Concorde Club went up to the ridiculously high price of 45p Mind you my mortgage interest rate had just reduced to 10.75% so happy days!!

Two footed so a step up from Che Adams then

Wasnt a GK yellow carded once (a few years back) for wearing a short sleeved jumper? I remember when I played for my school team, my Mum knitted me a green woollen (Ted Ditchburn type) goalies jumper with a roll neck. This was good protection against the cold but significantly increased in weight when it rained!!!! I also used to wear a pair of her old woollen gloves as protection against the cold and the effects of the old leather football. Those were the days without the namby pampy benefits of lightweight footballs, well padded GK gloves, rubber soled boots and protection against some big overweight centre forward trying to kick the living day lights out of you with no protection from the Ref!!

Sterling = Redmond?
