  1. Coppell is probably burnt out, consumed by the rapid rise and fall of Reading FC. Hard life being a football manager on fairly limited ressources, even Sir Alex had a spell when his sides were total crap. Then Quieroz came back
  2. I don't think our support really is that loyal. Doubt if we even sold that number in the premiership. I looked at their prices nigh on 400£ seems a lot for League 1 football. However the concessions are bargain basement.
  3. Like so many "good sources" on this forum. All full of sh*t,or full of ale or full of ale and sh*t. If I ever knew anything I'd tell you how I knew it. Unfortunately for us all I don't.
  4. Well taking the season before this last one as a reference we still had reasonable gates for the CCC but made a huge loss, even though we sold players to the tune of over 12 million. Tends to indicate that our revenue stream is p*ss poor, concessions forming a too high percentage perhaps. I think I worked out once that the average ticket price was about £13,take the VAT out of that and it's about £11.50,which is about conference level.
  5. Well not exactly, it depends how much that Rugby wallah has bid for the Stadium doesn't it. The Stadium is worth money, cost 32 million to build and now people are trying to buy it as part of a lock stock and barrel deal for a couple of million!! I reckon Pompey would give more than that;
  6. Well I told you they wouldn't take peanuts. Never do, never will, we have saleable assets and if necessary they will make us sell them; a total fùck up.
  7. In Vladivostock
  8. Good News Day, Someone's made a bid somewhere Engaying atmosphere and brightening the sky.
  9. Is his jaw mended then, great, but we still need something on the batting side.
  10. I'll have some of that then,
  11. No, I am advising serious reflection .
  12. Ah right we've had a few of them on here. Good side at one time in the days of John Hagger,John Wathan and Dave Poole.
  13. no the cat ate it, there are no mice in the cheese-shop sketch, the van breaks down, cheddar isn't popular in this manor and the cat eats the Camembert, which is very runny.
  14. The joys of parenthood eh. Both of our are in higher education now,but there was a time when all young couples thinking of having children should have spent a couple of days with us. The birthrate would have halved.
  15. Gone in a Minute , Vanishing Point and Apocalypse Now would seem to most apt to me. Leaving las Vegas is probably the most apt scenario, except we've played crap football till we died.
  16. A disaster, poor 1 day batting again. Crawley isn't a 1 day batsman any more. We get behind the run rate from the start and then have to go for dopey shots.
  17. An Outside Tackle?
  18. A new take on the continuing saga of Saint's administration. Me I'm the kind of stone-marten that wants to eat all his blueberries straight away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlSf0Lonv5k
  19. Chain saw gets the job done efficiently and quickly.
  20. worse than that. Bahamas standard. They may run fast but the football is diabolical. I've seen better Sunday League sides.
  21. Basildon Bond? Also the home of Pitney Bowes who made office equipment, wonder if MJ ever sold that brand. No sorry that was Harlow.
  22. Good for you Pancake, I'd be ashamed to admit I had any contacts in Basildon (or Essex in general tbf)
  23. You're very eloquent today BTF, nice luncheon?
  24. Are you sure, I thought that we established that they were one and the same.
