Some sort of future over the horizon would come in handy for that.

Probably also paying for overhauling the lawn mowers and hedgetrimmers of the 2 who are on gardening leave. Wouldn't be at all surprised if we're still paying off Wigley and Sturrock.
-
33K for each of them for the month, probably a bit of an underestimation actually.Do not forget that there are always hidden charges on wage bills.

Sale of goods act probably has something against that sort of wheeze I think You could sell 15000 supporters a symbolic and distinguishable Saints Scarf at £320 which could be exchanged at a later date for a Season Ticket though. Don't know how many would punt £320 right now though. Credit card agencies probably wouldn't touch it and that's the nub of the problem..

There would then be a queue of 40 odd solicitors lining up outside Mark Fry's office, not to mention, representatives of the non-playing staff. Leon would go among them distributing alms like good Queen Bess.

400K+ Less Skacel,Smith abnd some loanees. Still 400K though.

The smoke is symbolic of the voting papers being burnt, how they differentiate between a successful vote in the conclave and an unsuccessful one escapes me for the time present.Magnesium additive perhaps.

But we couldn't even get 32000 fans for the real football. I'm not even sure that the club has that many fans, not at £20 a head anyway. We used to get 32000 in the prem but I'm sure that there were a few neutrals in that number. I go to matches in France, quite a few but I'm not a supporter of any of the teams, I go to watch the football.I'v been to 9 games at St Etienne, 3 in Lyon and 2 in Grenoble this season, not a fan of any of them though. I used to watch PSG and RCf on alternate weeks when they played a the Parc des Princes, never a fan of either of them, I just went to watch Football. I even go to Rugby matches at Clermont, get cheap tickets from work, and I know nothing about Rugby.

Just imagine where we'd be if he'd have had the balls to do that with Mon Mome this year. He'd have 200+ million and we'd have a new owner and loads of new players by now. Pity he didn't really.
-
I have felt that I have that right since he tried to hijack the club back in July 2007.
-
It al sounds very surreal to me. Sounds like he's running his own fantasy football team.
-
I think the legends match hasn't taken off because £20 is just to much to watch a band of fat forty somethings having a kick about.Surely some sort of serious match would have been better.

Meaning basically that he knew in advance that there was no chance whatsoever of his offer being accepted, however as he made it he could brag about it for ever and a day.
-
After that it's All that Fall.

It depends on how much they've offered doesn't it. If the sum is ridiculously low (say 3.8 million as posted by RocketSwanee) then the component parts are worth more than the offer. The fact that he's waiting for more offers tends to indicate that the one he has isn't very receivable. What you have to remember is that some branches of SLH actually make a profit, how much I have no idea, if the football club losses could be controlled then the affair might be highly rentable.

He's only concerned about making a maximum amount of money to repay the creditors. His brief ends there. What Tchernobyl looks like afterwards really isn't his problem.

Pinnacle Led Bid Latest- Premiership in Five Years
Window Cleaner replied to John B's topic in The Saints
Well thank you for that party political broadcast on behalf of the Pinnacle party. -

Well I don't expect he's changing things from day to day on a random basis. I mean he's obviously looked at cash generation from selling the PLC in component parts from the Stadium down to the staplers in the offices. He'd have some idea of how much he could get, might even have some bids for bits and pieces on the back burner.I suspect that whatever he's got for the whole affair as a going concern isn't realistic in his opinion. Having said all that it's a pity the Board didn't come clean about the state of the nation in January and get the bins and buckets and Charity matches online a lot earlier. We could have avoided a whole lot of trouble.
