I know that this is a Solent interview so sort of specific to Saints but in the earlier Sky/Fan magazine interview I don't think he said much at all about wanting to stay with Saints. So could be a good thing or just kowtowing to the average Saints fan to get an easier ride from the crowd for the last few home game....then again I'm a bigger cynic than St Crinny.

He probably knows that 6.5 million £ is a ridiculously low price for him and that Atletico will want more. Although he does say he could well end up back in Madrid.

Rodriguez given the all-clear and set to return next month

Well of course the old unlikely, not unlikely couple is used often enough. In fact it probably means that he's more likely to return than not. -

Bloke needs to use a translator...then we'll know what he means. -

Where he already has a 20% stake but read on.................. -
Constantly stopping games would lead them to become like NFL where a 1 hour game lasts somewhere around 3 hours or Rugby where an 80 minute game lasts nigh on 2 and a half hours. Whatismore I've noticed that in Rugby at least players are becoming more and more proficient in masking actions, falling down at the same time as a try scorer in a bit of a ruckuss sometimes stops the video ref seeing what happens really.

Gardos really isn't a very good player, I mean he's average but for the fee we might have done better.
-
I see that Dani scored twice again yesterday, one a penalty it's true. Perhaps Boca will be impressed and brass up the £1.50 transfer fee

He's had a reasonable season but when up against cases like Dawson he's a bit soft centred still. He made that awful clearance because he couldn't handle Dawson's aggression, Toby ? well Dawson would have probably limped away from the challenge with a dead leg or something and the ball would probably have gone where Toby wanted it to go.

Arsenal could easily turn over their 3-1 defeat, Monaco just aren't a good side....then again neither are Arsenal on occasions.
-
Chelsea try to respect FFP, PSG....don't even know what it means. Chelsea have nowhere near the quality of players that PSG do....Qatar FC are in football for 1 thing only, winning the CL at any price, if they lost last night Blanc was sacked.

Carburators no longer exist on any grand scale so it might inspire them to do a bit of historical research.

Most of them have fairly high standards, still there must be the odd scrubber here and there.

Isn't the Euro 16 in France, I certainly hope it is, already made my plans.
-
What striker would that be then ?

Not that it makes any much difference but teenage pregnancies in Switzerland are fairly uncommon, probably at least 10 times as uncommon as in the UK I'd think; Your average continental european teenage girl does not get knocked up easily. I know it's about a ratio of 4/1 UK/France and about 6/1 UK/Germany .

Put it this way, who thinks that Toby would have made the same dubious headed clearance as Maya that fell to Berahino ? Class players have that little something extra which enables them to do the right thing 99.5% of the time.

But to make up such a gap in 10 games they'd probably have to do us a favour by beating Spurs and Liverpool, oh and us as well. If they make up 7 points and some GD from those games then they probably deserve 7th place.
-
And none taken , still should have checked though.

Yes I got confused between 2 disappointing games in succession, need to check my facts before posting really, then again that would make me MLG bis wouldn't it.
-
Yes we went to 4 at the back I think...not the point, Coutinho wasn't properly closed down.
-
I just wish that people would stop equating reality to Football Manager, it's a video game for overgrown children that means absolutely ferk all, you know like Monopoly and buying Mayfair for 400£ or whatever it is. Toby Alderweireld is our highest paid player and as he was on 80000£ a week approximately at Atletico I can't see him being on less. Furthermore if someone would like to point me in the direction of a Forbes list entry showing our owner being worth 4 billion (ie not Willi and Isolde but Katharina) I'd be interested.
-
You're absolutely right, it was Ward Prowse that didn't close down correctly, Gardos was hauled off after 20 minutes against West Brom..no doubt for being crap. Point is still the same Coutinho wasn't closed down quickly enough, look at it again and you may see what I mean. Toby might have changed ther situation because he's a better player.
-
The Coutinho goal was stoppable, Gardos was very, very slow off the mark and he turned his back. Good player might well have closed Coutinho down enough to change the situation.

Really it's not even up to us, it's up to the player and Atletico Madrid, sure as hell they aren't going to let us have him for 6.5 million £ or whatever it is because he's obviously worth far more. They just have to give us 2 million £ and then sell him to the highest bidder.
