Put our CBs in the order you think they belong.

And I presume these are some sort of fantasy football ratings ? -

And yet he's played all of both games this season and 30 odd games last season. So what's being said here is that the managers don't know what they're doing right? I blame fantasy football myself, fans become imbibed with their own opinions. -

Because they're all average and placing them in a hypothetical pecking order is pointless. The manager picks whoever he thinks is best for the job in hand on the day and our opinion makes no difference. -

Doesn't really matter, none of them would be good enough for a Top 6 side anyway. They all have good days and bad days. -

I see we've signed a young batsman from Glamorgan for the rest of this season and the 2 seasons after. An opener ? -

Pretty good day for Hants. 364 ahead with 6 wickets in hand. Should be able to set them well over 400 at sometime between lunch and tea tomorrow. Just one concern. Steyn broke down mid over this morning so we'll probably be a bowler short tomorrow. -
His dad wasn't much better.

You could be right there. We know far too much stuff that we really don't need to know, even without actively seeking it. Could be down to daytime news TV as well. So many stations seeking content to be able to sell advertising. Most of it for stuff that no one really needs.

But to be fair it's not just Britain is it. Half the world is in a sad state. Can't say what you think anywhere for fear of upsetting some daisy or other and the complainers have often more to hide than those they're complaining about. It's very odd for those of us who grew up in much simpler times.

I've called people jerks before, but they were so that's OK then.;)

Fidel on fire....... Just hope we can prevent them getting a big lower order partnership somewhere down the line. -

Pessimistic eh. Let's see what happens in this game. Dawson and Abbott have at least given us something to bowl at with 2 bonus points to boot. Notts are already 22/2, usually means nothing but we might not be too bad here. -
Richarlison was the only Everton player on the field today that didn't play for them last season I believe. They may have spent a lot of money lately but like us they haven't got it onto the pitch yet. In fact at least some of Saints signings have played at least 1 game so far.
-
Indeed, I thought we were lucky to finish the game with 11 players. Alehouse football in the first half. Better in the 2nd but Everton lost their compusure when Morgan went off, Davies has no discipline, rushes about like a blue arsed fly and we exploited that quite well.
-
But we have, now let me see, 5 centre backs. Quantity over quality I suppose.
-
How can it be lack of quality after we spent a shedload again this summer? It's lack of motivation that's the problem.
-
Well yes, all I remember about the place was getting a flat tyre. Italy is a mess, caused by years and years of austerity and corruption so I expect they'll get by somehow.

Not really worried actually. The whole campaign was a train wreck from the start. Unless Vince and/or Rossouw made 50 or 60 each time we were always going to lose most games. The only really exception was when Munro had a good match with bat and ball. It's clear that Northeast and Alsop can't score runs quickly enough for T20 cricket and both would really need to be batting far further down the order to make any use of them. Lack of openers did for us because Vince and his left handed alter ego should not be opening. Won't even mention the bowling, was never adapted to short format cricket. -
Nah, the Human Rights Courts don't allow that sort of stuff these days.

The Itchen Bridge isn't all that high though. Probably about 100ft up at it's highest point.

Nope. 23rd

To me Burnley faded badly from about the hour onwards and our formation change profitted from that. It's kind of normal, they played Thursday evening I believe. I'm not at all sure that the Saints 60+ minute formation would have held out before that when Burnley were not ****ged out. Hughes got it about right.
-
Burnley flagging, Saints pressing, might get a result.
-
Probably not no.

Walcott was poor yesterday and Richarlison looked to have a knee injury. Might be better than we think.
