how can you tell when he hasn't even played ? Footballers get injured all of the time, some are unfortunate enough to get injured before they even get a game. Time will tell.

Why do some posters take such delight in Saints losing?
Window Cleaner replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
There are a lot of trolls who post, all day, everyday. Probably not even Saints supporters just idle layabouts or students. I'm asking the mods to do something about some of them again cos they get on my wick. -
MP chasing Espanyol left back Victor Alvarez

half fit I expect. Maybe we should have switched to Frazer-Clyne after Fox went off but Clyne looked about a quarter fit as well. Think it was all hands to the pumps yesterday, too many ongoing injuries being carried over from game to game. -
probably training with some sort of injury. MP said we had Shaw as our main concern injury wise but that there were others not 100%. Clyne looked as if he was nowhere near total fitness as well.

Indeed, as long as we have space in our 25 (which I think we do) we can sign unattached players at any point. Think the FA takes a dim view of players becoming suddenly "unattached" by mutual consent though. -
Why would QPR be unmotivated for a win? Contrary to popular creed they are a good side, good players with a good manager and staff. They now have a series of matches that could take them out of the relegation zone by beating rivals in that area. Should they beat Sunderland,Wigan and Villa who are 3 of their next 4 they'll be out of the bottom 3 probably leaving Reading,Wigan and Villa there.
-
they were in the right places, just didn't do the right things. There's a whole world of difference. We need to stop knocking the manager. If Yoshida puts his tackle in correctly for their second the cross doesn't get put in, these are individual errors and not a reflexion on the system or placement. Yoshida had a bad game defensively yesterday and would probably have been far better off on the other side but as Fonté doesn't seem to play well on the left side the result wouldn't have been much different. Need to get Forren sorted or go back to Jos and one of the others. I bet if we'd played Jos yesterday QPR wouldn't have scored the same goals.

Understandable, if we buy a really good LB we can move Shaw forward into LM where I think he'll do very, very well, just like Bale. Lallana sold off cos he's not the future, don't think he's made the step up at all.. -
Shaw is better going forward than he is defensively. As I said in another thread, I'd take Traoré over him any day. If Chelsea want to give us 10 million for him right now then this way with the sack of cash please gents. Once again a player Saint's fans have built up to some sort of status way beyond his current abilities (same as Lallana who can't finish correctly). Lacks "metier" probably because he's just a kid. Shaw may well turn out to be another Bale, a midfielder rather than a LB.
-
I thought we played reasonable well and with a bit of oomph from Lambert we'd probably have won, he was absolutely woeful yesterday, no threat whatsover. Lallana wasn't good at all and I was pleased to see him replaced by JRod, instant threat to the QPR defence. On Yoshida, I'm not at all sure that he's very comfortable on that side of the defence, doesn't Jos usually take that side? I thought that that was quite a good partnership and was surprised that we broke it up to play Fonté.

Remaining Fixtures for bottom teams...
Window Cleaner replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
QPR are in a totally false position due to Hughes' ineptitude. It's still probably too late for them though but they have good players and a manager who knows what he's doing. There are plenty of players at QPR that I'd swap for ours. Traore for instance, far better than either Fox or Shaw in his present state, key player for them, shut Punch and Clyne right down.. -
It certainly is, Cork faded very badly in the second half and most of what he did ended in him running up his own backside. Schneiderlin was by a country mile our best player yesterday, my are we going to struggle when he's gone next season. Our main problem yesterday was lack of punch in the last 30 yards again, just JRod taking it to them all by himself most of the time.
-
we need to go back to roughly the same side that beat City but with Shaw in for Fox and José for Jos. Lambert needs to do far far more than he did yesterday, what a let down, nothing from him whatsoever, just gave their defence an easy ride.
-
About 10 tackles today so he was obviously on double shift without Davis.
-
3 easy wins there then
-
don't think I'll bother with a reaction then, I obviously wasn't watching the right game. Thought we looked not too bad but had very little in attack. Poor game from Lambert needs to do more .
-
St David's Day week-end innit, probably some sort of annual sheep rogering contest.
-
when is he ever, been here what 6 weeks, hasn't put a foot onto the pitch in a first team game yet.
-
we don't even know what he's like at left back. If Shaw is out Fox will be at LB as he was against Citeh.

do they have halftime in black ops nowadays then. Typical -
can you not spread "exceptional revenues" over several years for tax purposes then ?

Would Spider & Punch sign up if Adkins was still here?
Window Cleaner replied to Pilchards's topic in The Saints
how do you know that ? -
Now I'm sure someone said that about Gray and Wigley
-
Don't think Harry takes many training sessions, tells Jordan and the others what he wants and leaves it to them. You don't keep a dog and bark (or is it bank) yourself.

What exactly has it to do with QPR or Redknapp ??
