This is the guy that we are watching Tuesday night. Nixon said it was in the French leagues and Sanchez plays for Valenciennes. They are due to play PSG on Tuesday.
-
He'd still get it wrong by calling them either Kana-BIKI or DANNS

Transfer windows are so much better when you have half an idea of what is going on and who we're looking at! Gets bloody boring when you haven't got a clue what's happening 'behind the scenes'!
-
Oh Yes Please! Would be a terrific signing!
-
Thank Mr Nixon for the info.
-
All I know is that the player we are looking at tomorrow night is from the French league. Time to get guessing and looking!
-
I see Rennes are playing tomorrow night. Kana-Biyik?

The ideal results in Bold IMO IF these results fall correctly and we beat Sunderland, we could be in a pretty healthy condition come 3 tough games over the Xmas period (Fulham A, Stoke A and Arsenal H) which IMO we'll be lucky to get 3 point (s) from + we still have the game in hand - albeit against Chelsea.

And in the Mail http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2245569/Southampton-want-sign-Scott-Dann.html

I think we all did if I'm honest with you, simply because we thought he was being brought in to play up alongside Rickie or Billy Sharp in a 4-4-2 formation. When he signed, little did we know that we'd end up using 4-3-3 / 4-5-1 / 4-2-3-1 where Jay would be used sparingly and when he did play, he was being played in the wrong position. This led to below par performances and a lack of confidence and fans were on his back straight away. E.G play Rickie on the left wing and he'll look nowhere near as good as he does in his natural CF position. When played like he was today as the striker furthest forward and playing in and around Rickie, Jay looked very good. Brilliant movement off the ball, decent-ish touch (will only get better) and runs the channels really well. As others have said, once he bulks up a bit and gets a bit more muscle on him as he matures and continues to learn, he will become a very very good player and some 'fans' will end up looking stupid for saying it was £7m wasted. I think he is a very good player and expect to see him get more and more game time as the season progresses.

@SimonPeach: I am hearing Gaston Ramirez will be involved for #SaintsFC this weekend. Awaiting confirmation from Adkins in press conf.

£3.5m if I remember correctly.

We look terrible in midfield. cork and schneiderlin non existent. Need to keep the ball much better however.

Shaw for sure. Different class. Didn't really put a foot wrong. Once he gets fully fit and up to speed, I honestly can't see him being here after the end of the season. For a 17 year old, his composure and quality on the ball is incredible. Very very good player on our hands here.

Totally agree. I'd put good money on them staying up now with Harry in charge. Will get their team organised and playing good football. The season has just got that little but harder for us now!

Already agreed for Redknapp to take charge from Sunday according to Neil Ashton. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2237190/Mark-Hughes-sacked-QPR-Harry-Redknapp-manager-match-Manchester-United.html

Been saying for a while that I think we will end up going for him again in January and this article suggests so. Right bid and he will come, no question. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2236550/Southampton-want-Matt-Phillips-Blackpool-5-5m.html

This could end up being a golden thread!

I said once I saw the initial design that it'll be a kit/shirt that at first will shock and horrify people but after a few weeks/few games, it will grow and become popuiar and people will begin to really like it. I for one I have liked it since I saw it and think it is the way the 'new' and modern Saints are going. Expect similar variations in the future I think.
