  1. It makes me laugh when some on here start spouting examples of deteriorating moral standards by showing racism is on the rise. With so much easy access to news nowadays more people are aware of this racial overtone being something that can be used to gain attention. The funny thing is that of the many charged with racism nobody has come out with the number of charges that failed. I am not racist but having been mugged twice when living in London by gangs of black males can understand why some people are. I lived in Brixton and on Angell Road behind the police station where at night you would not travel out on your own unless in a car. I also drove buses for Arriva and was assaulted whilst driving the bus which was half full. My message I guess is that there are more good of each race than there are of bad. I have many black friends and they are real friends. I was married twice to black women. these people bleed and suffer just like you and me.
  2. why does it mean I am a jilted lover. I am saying no because he is past his best and injury prone. 9 games in 3 years is hardly enough to recommend him joining us is it? I worshipped him whilst he was here and have his autograph and a Saints shirt he gave to my wife. But sadly he is not the player he was and we are not in a position where we could afford to bring him back with possibility/probability that we would lose him for much of the time he would be here.
  3. No, not now, not tomorrow, not ever.
  4. I get bored when our regular pessimists keep hogging the limelight. I understand that we are not yet safe but bloody hell we probably need two wins and maybe a draw or two for total safety. I am confident enough to feel that we can do that. Even if most gains may be away from SMS.
  5. looks a bit lightweight but may work out well for us. will wait and see.
  6. I don't care how we did it. We won and I have begun gazing at a few clubs just above us wondering if we might just be able to compete with them.
  7. If we are looking at strikers we should be looking at someone capable of playing with and playing as replacement to Ingsy. Personally I would spunk all our cash on a hard tackling no nonsense cb.
  8. what matters to me is that our team has found a way to garner some valuable points. Long may it continue. If as expected by most we can bring in a couple of players please let them be a decent aggressive dm and cb.
  9. my first game was september 1953 for my 6th birthday/ I have soldiered through bad times and enjoyed the good, but nowadays what is on offer is so poor that I am wondering why we bother? My love for the club at the moment seems more as a memory of the past than what is currently on offer.
  10. maybe he will be selected for the cup games
  11. The manager should be held responsible for how the team plays. playing slowly with no obvious ideas is down to the training they receive. Players may falter through fear of losing, making mistakes etcetera, but good coaches should be able to pick players that have the balls to have a go. Yesterday we only began trying when Boufal came on which stretched Watford's defense. We only came alive after Djenepo inadvertently handled the ball whilst making the goal for Ings. Overall if we were facing a team that could score we might have had another drubbing. We had a team full of poorly performing players. Not just one which in my opinion is debatable with reference to JWP.Stephens mistake cost us the Watford goal though you could also suggest our keeper went to ground to quickly. I am not a JWP super fan but he is by no means worthy of the stick he gets.
  12. Corbyn failing to have more than 100 instances or anti-semitism sorted is enough for anybody to equate that as reason enough to class him as anti-semitic. As leader of the party the buck stops with him. Calling somebody a bell end because of your blinkered idiology can be said to leave you open to many calls of you being a tosser or worse.
  13. my concern is that with a bad goal difference we are probably 5 points from safety. Lose today and we could be staring into the abyss. That said I think, hope and pray for a resounding victory with Che scoring as well.
  14. there has never been a bigger high than beating the Skates on their own turf. We had to wait too long for the 4-0 but trust me it will forever stay in my memory as do several other victories over them.
  15. not before time. We had a good team there before they were removed bit by bit
  16. Too little too late. Way they have been playing they owe us all a small fortune in payment for the pain we have inflicted upon us week in week out.
  17. Our style of play is so goddamn slow and when attacked are usually out muscled by majority of teams. We have no drive and that is down to transfer errors. We need somebody that can clearly see where we are worst placed for players and can bring in players that will fight for the colours. Even if from a lower league like championship or league 1. The added physical might for me is more important right now than watching our lightweight team pussy footing about. Even go to the top 6 clubs for reserves or promising players on loan. We need more muscle and speed all over the pitch
  18. It should be extremely attractive to a person with ambition enough to make his mark
  19. I am used to watching our club rise and fall repeatedly. Again and again a weak team without possessing leaders is main fault. Last summer we needed to add a spine to our team. We failed miserably even though possible candidates were available. We bring in Adams, Djenepo and Danso, and we still wait for some physical strength to be added. Djenepo looks like he could be a useful addition if he can stay injury free. Danso has surely to be given time to settle, as either defensive midfield player or cb. Only way top see if he is up to the task. Adams looks keen but I am waiting to see a striker appear from within him. if we are going to go under then we need to see players that will fight and sadly we appear to have nobody of that ilk. In Boufal we have a player that could do a lot to ease our situation but he seems to be only a bit part player, why? JWP gets game time weekly without earning it. We need fighters to help steer our ship away from the rocks in the relegation zone as I can't see us bouncing back quickly if we go down.

    Ross Wilson

yes let them take some of our players with him
  21. WHICH IS WHY WE ARE WHERE WE ARE
  22. we have never adequately replaced Schneiderlin as holding midfielder.
  23. not sure why you have to diss players so soon and especially when still young enough to do lots of improving. Ings is fully experienced but tonight was special for him as Winchester born Saints fan. If he hadn't had such injuries he may still have been at Liverpool or would have moved for much more than we paid. I see in Che a wil;ling boy trying to hard. He may well end up scoring with a fluke that starts him running rings round other teams.
  24. agree he has done ok but still doesn't instil confidence.
