I agree and Murty in my view did far better. He also made a couple of powerful covering runs into our box to make needed saving tackles. His work rate has improved as his fitness gets better and his interplay with the midfield was good as well. For me he was the best player on the pitch and if he can last two or three seasons will become one of our best loved players. Loved his excitement and celebrations after we scored.

Small minded poor excuse for a football club- us?!

Wiltshire have you thought of using your boiler to steam the nettles. Both problems sorted in one go.

Why wasn't Rasiak selected? Or mills?

The general mood upon leaving the ground was one of quiet confidence. We should be safe enough and with a few astute signings I am sure we can climb ever upward.

I firmly believe that Lowe is the real villain here. He knew how bad the situation was and could so easily have got us into admin before the cut off point. He knew that his time was up and said stuff you lot. You all wanted me out so you can have what you want. I am going but when I say not you. He still lives in a nice house and earns a nice living. But for the arrival of Mr Marcus Leibher we were cooked to a tea and the remains consigned to the dustbin. He has proven himself to be a nasty small minded vindictive and blinkered little boy. Worse still, one who thought that he was god. All in my honest opinion of course.

I believe we will find it hard against Millwall. I also believe that AP has a few names that he would like to bring in or an idea of the type of player required. We have been held back because of the Pinnacle fiasco but still have this month in which to strengthen. Yes I am concerned but that is the fate of many a supporter. Roll on Millwall and let the real fun begin.

Why can't the clubs be limited to paying wages equal to an agreed (nationally) percentage. In fact if FIFA were to make it a condition of qualifying for any competition they rule over the big clubs would lose a lot of their power. FIFA being the ruling body over football worldwide, means that there would be a world wide safety cushion. The bigger clubs would still have the advantage but to a far smaller degree. TV companies money should also be shared more equally among the counties clubs. A % similar to 35, 27.5, 22.5 and 15 could be something worth looking at. I would even suggest taking a % for the counties to help grass roots football. Why should a club that has spent 120 million be allowed such an advantage over poorer clubs.

If you can get 2-5 minutes of every game it makes our tv package even more expensive.

Splinter groups then. 4 x 4 any use lads????????????

I am greedy because like a lot, I firmly believe we need 2 CB's

No news on Jaihdi but Murty confirmed for 1 season with 1 season roll over

Anything that costs much more than the price of a phone call seems unlikely at the moment. Should change as the games begin I hope.

Trainee doctors etc are not on student wages. Having lived next to a hospital for many years I can tell you that they also know how to spend on beer and alternative recipes for relaxation.

all women soon learn when to blow the whistle on a male sorty. They also call you offside.

Not worried so much for the season as for now. Murty has shown he needs to do some serious training and I imagine Jaidi would be in a similar condition. Could we be in a similar position to last year when we were always conceding late goals? Other than that it could be a big big plus for us. No money being spent yet I haave noted,

He could be a good signing if fit. We need someone that come in and start straight away. I would expect us to find another forward as well by the weekend but again will he be fit to step straight into our team?

OS has said in their ad that Solent are covering and near DAB quality sound.

We are all different and yet we are all the same. WE ARE SAINTS SUPPORTERS. With one or two possible exceptions of course.

Not every game please. The first one or two at worst but not by 4-0. We will maybe start slowly, but if the team shows some fight we will surely get behind them and roar them on as we can and have in the past.

Shpellinge lessens aypartt. Eye wille alweighs bee graitful foure hys hellp. His money kept us alive and for that reason alone we should find a way to forgive him his mistakes. Our club is still here and I hope that he as a fan can now enjoy watching and supporting us.

I am sorry to say it but I fear a defeat and 0-2 the score.

We may be under prepared for Millwall. I still fancy we will do better than some gloom merchants on here. I would also like to see some transfers coming our way. However I bought my two season tickets because we still have a club. My kids are happy to be able to wear our colours and so am I. Would be a bit pointless without the club wouldn't it.

I and several others have said for months that we need both height and strength added to our squad. Perry is a trier but is not going to gain speed or height. Thomas looks as if he could be another Svensson. God forbid. Murty is good but lacks height. Lancashire looks as if scared of his shadow. Harding looks as though he will be a useful acquisition. Wotton looks and acts as if he is a statue about to awaken from a very deep sleep. He likes to think of himself as a midfield general but all his shouting and armwaving doesn't work without something to go with it. We have some talent in midfield but we have no muscle. As for the forward line. Well if Rasiak stays we have a chance. Saga forget he just doesn't appear interested. So what do we need. In a word - muscle. In my book we need 2 CB, 1 or 2 midfielders and at least 1 striker. One of each would tide us over for now. Hopefully once the season has begun we will pick up a couple of loanies.
