I can tell you f'sure that a ligament completely detached from the bone and that's why he had to be kitted out like Steve Austin (Million Dollar Man for those too young to remember). It was a bit of a nasty injury and it was also to be expected that he would be going back to have more surgery to remove said implanted metal for obvious reasons. HTH.

Sorry, I liked Surman when he was here, but he's not right for us now...we have better options IMO.

One thing to say about this - you cannot compare what a player does in the Prem to what he might do for England. Why? Because in the Prem he is surrounded by players of better quality from other countries and they make ALL English players look better than they actually are. Rooney is a perfect example of this. I don't care to look up the stats, but just count how many English players are currently playing for the 1st teams of clubs in the top Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian leagues. Compare that to the percentage of foriegn players in the Prem and it will tell you all you need to know. English football is still poor by comparison and until someone starts sorting out it out we will continue to fail against the above mentioned teams. Trouble is its a massive ask and will require balls of steel to turn things around.

I am told that the big red building is the Saints FC Museum incorporating the trophy hall. It will cost £25 to get in and have look around, but those with 50,000 points on their ST card can get in for £20.

So hacked off - as it stands, I will miss out on FOUR of the games at SMS thanks to two weddings and a holiday! For once I sincerely hope Sky do me a massive favour and reschedule at least a couple of those games! Great thing of course is that we will not miss a single game at least in highlights, thanks to television coverage.

Great signing - at long last done. I do wonder about how those who get excited about the 'record club fee'! How long ago was Delap signed for £4m? What would that be worth in todays money? Put's a little bit of perspective on things perhaps - i.e. we've not spent big - yet.

Anyone know if FIFA 12 has Saints in the Prem? And if you buy this version, can you update the squad with any new signings at the end of the transfer windown? Ta.

Surprising development - never thought it would be Martin who went out on loan. Agree with those suggesting we will be getting in 2 new CB's - there's no way Seaborne is good enough for Prem unfortunately. If it's true we're going for two new CB's, that's pretty incredible in itself to be honest - looks like we're going to be seeing more signings than we previously thought?!

Come on guys - this ain't gonna happen. I mean which first choice starter would he displace? Surely not Hammond, Schneiderlin, Guly, Lallana, Cork or Chaplow? Surely none of those guys...? (;

Wow - looks like the Saints transfer rumour mill is really starting to get very sluggish. With no signings (yet), it's getting a bit boring really - bring on the new season! Blimey, even the Euros is starting to look exciting with so little else going on! LOL

Both of these are great and in fact I actually prefer the white sleeves as there's more white involved - clearly there's the Arse connection bit it's quite different for us - will cause a stir beyond the club I would imagine. I would buy these shirts f'sure as they are different (I like different) and I didn't buy last years for obvious reasons.
