I would have a fit Beatts back - he could help the cause for certain. However, if he is injured then the issue really is for how long? He would have to be willing to fit in with the salary structure now at Saints if he wanted a move, but also Saints would need to be certain he would have the determination to work hard to get match fit and thus be able to play. I couldn't see more than a one year deal on the table - in fact I wouldn't give him anything more than a pay as you play type deal.
