Ahh the papsters local, what out casual disaster acceptors I would have been at this one, no preseason games this weekend and surprisingly I find myself fit for once. Unfortunately mates getting married (selfish bastard) but he makes up for it with a free bar. Sorry steve -
Id take sinclair, richards or nastasic on reasonable wages. All decent players with points to prove.

Whats done is done now, it wasnt purely reed, it wasnt purely the board. We'll never know the true goings on and TBH rightly so. We've speculated all summer, ive been a big critic of the new board but we are still here, have a decent squad and manager and the seasons started. Time to get back on the bus COYR

Liverpool certainly werent excellent but played ok, Skrtl and Lovren are pretty solid and gave Pellé a torrid time. Ultimately are issue last year was our lack of cutting edge so nothings massively changed there TBH. Pellé hasnt impressed me much so far, but its early days and a new league. Tadic looks good, isgrove promising. The back four werent too bad, shielded by the impassable Wanyama who looks like he could headbut a wall down. Bertrand and clyne looked good really IMO, clyne more to blame for the second goal then the first but you could also argue that Fonte wasnt entirely blameless. Forster looked ok, big big lad, poorish for the first goal but it was a decent finish. Another day could have seen us win, so Im happily not too downhearted for the result at what are some peoples top two tip (unsure how) All in all Im happy. Just my take on the chances. Davis - needed more composure, was ultimately poor Long - dissapointing, probably should have hit the target but the liverpool did enough to put him under pressure

Yeah... Fonte at CM.... Wanyama CB... And saying that schneiderlin shouldnt of hit his shot at the keeper who made a great save, from a shot of Morgans wrong foot, on the volley from a bouncing ball he hit under pressure ? Glass houses and all that

I dont think Isgrove is that bad, probably not ready to start yet but realistically is a reasonable talent. Id be happy with Townsend though, he is likely to get around 5 goals a season and a few assists. Gives us something we havn't got right now which is real direct threat. There are better options out there however. Especially with the english player premium.

I see you have taken this info and prefered to adopt a more positive view regardless of authenticity. A bit retarded that really. Looking at the whole situation I think its pretty obvious the early days of the board there was a lot of upheaval and the players obviously were dejected as well as poch. Having done some digging myself there are a few different sides to the story, both have a lot of fluff built around personal agendas, but in the whole, of the info I have recieved I think its pretty obvious that there was, shall we say, 'issues' there and in the main the majority of players I think could have been convinced. Obviously you are more then welcome to bury your head in the sand and ignore it but I assure you it happened. Why players turning around after they have left and pointing this out is unnacceptable ? Well I dont know. Im sure they have all taken enough criticism through social media etc In balance however I think that they have done pretty well in recovery of a situation that looked like a car crash. They have manage to extract the highest fees possible, sign what look like adequate replacements and ultimately steadied the ship. The future, IMO, looks bright, but lets not airbrush and ignore whats happened.

His final ball is still a bit lacking but he has glue on his boots, is strong and gets in good positions. Will be a good player

I dont think we should be talking about his personal issues tbh, very harsh, Isgrove selfishly didnt give him the premier league shiney for his merlin sticker book today despite having 3 swapsies. Very very sad times
